The most recent expansion had a heavy emphasis on inevitability. Ignite, questline mage/shaman/warlock (hunter to a lesser extent), even elwynn boar. There dont exist cards that can reasonably stop these win cons, you just have to win before they pull it off. So the solution is to figure out what turn these decks tend to win on, and make a deck that can win before that. There are plenty of ways to slow them down too; far watch post, that 1/4 that makes battlecries cost more, the 6-mana 5/5 that makes spells more expensive, etc. So slow them as much as you can, and win before they can go off. It's rough, but it is what it is. I miss pre-stormwind wild, tbh
