My thoughts were on hunter for losing the face factor, that has been carrying for the class since Naxx more or less. Druid losing savage roar is a pretty huge nerf to the treant decks, that otherwise seems very encouraged in the core set and not having wrath and swipe is a big nerf to all ramp and slow druid decks (Druid would be my other pick).
But we're talking mage now. I actually thought that the class was better off than most, just by looking at the wholeness of the set, but when you look at the powerful cards that have gone, it really made me think. If you just look at what is gone, sure mage is getting butchered, but that's because the class has gotten more wild cards in their set than most. They also have some solid card buffs. Sure cone of cold sucked, but now it can be used like a less situational and less tilting frost nova. The secrets are the most solid classic ones and the class has more value generation + draw now than before. ALL classes have significantly fewer cards now, but mage has a pretty solid secret package and can still do lots of early game trades with the star spell and the new blue gill warrior + boar. Polymorph gone is pretty big. That card allowed mage to counter a lot of shit, but was getting less relevant with time.
