I think the problem with Demon Hunter is that the weakness Blizzard stated that they gave him (no card generation) is the best weakness out of all the classes in that it really doesn’t hurt that much.
I think the issue with DH class identity is that it has two qualities that are perfectly fine on their own, but absolutely devastating together: aggression and card draw. Every aggro deck in history before DH was limited by card draw (see: HOF to divine favor), and DH is now as aggressive as hunter with the card draw of rogue or warlock.
I don’t think the class is super oppressive right now, but the class identity decisions made by Blizz do boggle my mind.
