Another priest thread. You know you whiners should bring all of your threads together and spin a giant blanket that you can all take turns drying your eyes with.
And to be clear, complaints about valid issues are fine. Adding to the already existing echo chamber is not. EVERYONE AGREES. Priest is slow, dull and boring. But again, EVERYONE AGREES.
Great. Everyone agrees. So take the changes WE ALL KNOW ARE COMING. AND BRING THEM SOONER.
Card changes in Hearthstone are artificially slowed to conform to traditional TCG formats.
Why 'uninstall until the next xpac'? Why not just not play until the meta changes with the next expansion? Such a childish thing to do, do you lack any sort of self control to the point that if it isn't uninstalled you'll okay and be really angry? My 10 year old will uninstall things when he gets mad at them and then moan about reinstalling when he wants to play again. I can't imagine a grown adult doing this.
It isnt good as a mobile game. When games are going 20-30 minutes specifically for Priest, and 5-10 for every other class, then something's broken.
Control decks have existed since the beginning and I see no reason to make them unplayable just because they take longer to play against. If you are really worried about your wins per hour, or whatever time frame you play by, just concede against the control decks should they appear to be stabilizing. If you're playing against more control decks then normal, try switching up your deck strategy.
Control decks have always tended to last around 10-20 turns. Not 25-50.
They've always had powerful draw mechanics. Res Priest has literally zero draw spells, but games still go to full fatigue. And that's after using cards to extend the deck to 40+ cards.
And this isn't an attempt at an argument with the population of snivelling retards on this forum about the specifics of the deck. Regardless of what nonsense all the dumb replies spout, the deck's getting nerfed. I just want it to happen sooner.
What rank is this surplus of Res Priests occurring at? I've seen like 6 between 10 and 1, and I MIGHT have lost 1 of the games. The thing with a "non OP deck" is that people don't play them... If they do, they don't climb very high.
Were you forced to play 1 game that lasted more than 6 turns, and found that so outrageous that this needed to be posted.
I dislike the deck more than any other decks aswell, although they are quite satisfying to beat. I think standing on a soapbox yelling "We need changes now!!!" is a little much.
(Ironically, I played a Res Priest while typing this, and beat him on turn 9... Zephyrs into Hex on his Convincing Infiltrator, Shadowstep'd Zep to Hex his Khartut Defender... GG.)
That's a lie. Even on Blizzard's internal data for Priests, they're in the top 5 decks till Legend consistently.
How in the ever living fuck is Hunter allowed to keep going with the fucking "me hunter me face" style of games? In no way should games average 5-6 turns. Cause seriously why are there 6+ mana cards if you can't play them (max is 10 mana right, it's been so long since I've played longer match that I'm not sure anymore).
Climbing ladder has turned into an absolute hunterfest. You either draw your heal/removals or you are dead. And if you do they just concede. No planning, no strategy, just play on curve and hope to survive.
If that continues noone will craft legendaries anymore and blizz will have to shut the game down cause they won't make a single penny from it.
Face Hunter games are at least over in 5-6 turns, and are countered by a lot of existing control deck types.
How in the ever living fuck is Priest allowed to keep going with the fucking slug paced meta it forces? In no way should games average 25-40 turns.
We all know changes in some form are coming. Because there's a 0% chance Res Priest will be allowed to stay after Year of the Dragon.. But changes happen at a snail pace.
The deck is high performing, but not #1. But playing against the other dominant decks are at least over by around turn 6-10.
Climbing ladder has turned into an absolute crawl. To an extent where it's faster to just auto concede vs Priests and win vs other classes.
But is there an expectation that the playerbase is just forced to slog through this snail garbage until the next rotation months away?? Because regardless of whatever winrate or rank you can achieve, the dumpster population of Priests stalling any ladder progression can drive away tons of players over that time.
It's not the first time this has happened. Saronite Chain Gang, Mountain Giant and Mind Blast are three cards that people abused for months to years on ladder, which we all knew would be nerfed or moved to wild, but were were acted on at an absolute snail pace.
And no, I don't think the deck is 'op'. Its just so fucking slow, it could have a 0% winrate, and itd still have turned the game into an absolute fucking tar pit.
For the love of god, make changes to Priest in some way soon. I play this game at work in a similar way to the security guard in the Overwatch trailer, but its at a point where id rather do fuck all than play this molasses game.
If there's no update, ill likely just uninstall till the next xpac, use dust to give the game a second chance, and permanently quit if there's still no improvement.

I don't think I've played Hunter since Frozen Throne, but go off.
