There comes a time in many discussions where sometimes it's best to accept that the other person is not going to accept your reasoning and let them believe what they will. Perhaps this is that time? :-)
This is not to say either side is right or wrong, of course; but it doesn't sound like there is going to be much changing of minds from this.
Da Undatakah works the way it is intended to. It may differ to similar cards such as those mentioned, but the general acceptance is the way it currently works. You could consider whether the wording is not quite right perhaps, but that is purely semantical rather than anything else. And it doesn't really change how the card works.
Lastly, (personal opinion) I don't see this as a bug, either.
