I will buy the standard bundle, the mega bundle, the adventure bundle, and also this first week special bundle all as soon as I get paid in April/when the others are released.
I will be pre-ordering both bundles, as well as the nine pack bundle available during the first week. I'm doing this for a few reasons:
Hearthstone is my primary game and financial excursion, so I don't mind spending money (came from a TCG background, so I'm used to spending money on children's card games)
This is the first expansion of a new rotation and will therefore be in standard longer than any other set in year of the dragon, so it's important to me to get the cards that will likely make up the foundation of standard for the next year or two
Because I know I'm going to spend money regardless (see point one), it makes the most sense to pre-order because it is the best value, as well as the fact that setting my purchasing limit to pre-orders and special event deals helps prevent me from spending money on smaller quantities of packs more frequently for more money
***Cosmetics like card-backs or hero skins DO NOT have anything to do with my purchasing decisions***
***I also DO NOT collect golden cards, so a lot of that gets dusted Day One. I do this every expansion and tend to have all the cards from an expansion before the next one is released***
I will also be purchasing the adventure because I'm more than just a competitive player-- I enjoy the narratives and have even higher hopes for this year's single-player content, as it is a year-long story. (Note: I'm NOT purchasing the adventure solely for the packs, because it isn't a great deal when you look at the number of packs you're getting for the money/gold. I'm only purchasing because I personally enjoy playing through the content.)
Note: This post is not intended to be a brag/flex because I drop real dollars on the game. It's merely intended to be an explanation of the rationale of someone who spends money on the game.
