Wouldn't it be awesome if there was a way to rate threads so that if enough people disliked one it would be hidden from public view? I don't know how tedious that is to program (i imagine all programming is tedious by nature haha), but i feel that'd be a huge improvement to the thread system and make a fair number of people happy!
I have no influence on stuff like this but my issue with this would be that it lead to what is known as mob rule. Once people know you can get threads to go away by voting for it, some threads that a minority would want to discuss in might always be voted into oblivion.
There's an easier way to not be bothered by threads you dislike: not posting in them and ignoring them.
Seems a trollish responce, but it's the simple truth. If you dislike what's going on in a thread, but it's not breaking the rules the best course of action is to simply ignore it and not post in it.
if all those people that would normally downvote a thread would simply not post in a thread, then the thread would likely die because oif lack of posts in it. THAT is the way a forum generally works.
But as I said, I don't have any influence over these things so maybe a staff member can answer the thread with some comment about how they feel about a voting function for normal threads. :)

If you see a bad post on the forum use the report function under it, so I or someone else of the moderation team can take care of it!
Thanks for moving that for me haha. This is actually my first thread. I can see the qualms surrounding mob mentality. It's similar to the way decks are upvoted and downvoted, but there's gotta be a way to work around that. Voting limitations perhaps?
