It's a very fun deck, I recorded 7 games using it. If you just want to see the epic double rag finish it's at 1:02:49
Any feedback is very welcome, positive or negative. I'm trying to get better at recording games and talking about my decisions. A few curse words slip out here and there, I'm focused on eliminating that entirely.
The coolest game by far is the last one. It's against the very same priest that beats me in game number 6, I didn't realize it at the time and even hoped for a chance to fight him again immediately after my loss in game 6. In game 6 I am punished for my greedy play.
So enjoy it, or don't, but tell me why you didn't like it if you could spare a few moments. I plan on making videos and learning about proper narration and techniques along the way, with a little slice of personality. Perhaps this video is a bit too dry, in the end my goal is to entertain.
Thanks for taking the time to check out this thread regardless.
For anyone interested, I recorded the video with XSplit, and the audio with Ableton live. Doing this I was able to separate my microphone and game sound into separate tracks for better mixing. I used some high quality VST plugins to compress and gate the vocals, and a limiter on the master track to bring up the volume of the game automatically while my voice wasn't present. I combined the video and audio using a free video editor found here: http://www.videosoftdev.com/free-video-editor
It worked extremely well after I fine tuned the H264 codec settings. I think the video quality came out perfect, though the audio level may be a bit high.
