My name is Josh, and I've been playing various card games since I was about 9 or 10. I was a pretty shy kid at school, so playing games like Yugioh helped me to make friends and come out of my shell. I started playing Yugioh during the days of Goat Control (arguably the best format of the game), and eventually moved onto Magic: The Gathering after Yugioh got stale.
I love Magic, and still play today. Playing it online is akin to pulling out your own teeth however, so I looked for other online card games to quench my thirst for battle. I started at Solforge, before moving to Hearthstone, which the game I currently enjoy most.
I love how easy the game is to get into, and how difficult it is to master. The interface and animations are fantastic - having the screen shake when you hit your opponent in the face with a giant minion is SO satisfying! I definitely fall into the category of a spike, I love to win, and don't really have any deck preferences.
I'm currently off on uni holidays, and Australia's current internet services suck, meaning I can't really start up a stream. So I've decided to try my hand at making YouTube videos instead!
You can see my first series on an Aggro Hunter deck here:
As you can see, I started by doing a quick deck tech on the my deck, and then played 8 games with it. I tried to be very instructional during the games, rather than entertaining, as I've noticed the majority of streamers don't really discuss why they're making the plays they're making.
I would LOVE some constructive feedback on this, do you guys agree? Or should I just try to be more entertaining instead? I'm keen to hear any feedback you guys have to offer :)
Hi guys!! Got some more videos for you, this time with a sweet miracle mage deck! I highly recommend checking out my game against control warrior too, it was awesome (it's in Part 3 of the games, and starts at 11.15 :) ):

Made it to legend for the first time today!! Here's a deck tech on the deck I used, and the final game that got me to legend:
Also I've decided to make at least one hearthstone-related video a day for the month of February, I've really enjoyed making these videos so I thought I'd step it up a notch ;)
