I've been at this game for a few months now and like a lot of you, have played out the current set of cards available in Hearthstone. So in this topic we'll discuss what we'd like to see in the next card set that Blizz is going to release.
I've found a lot of the class cards have huge gaps, for instance Priest lacks anything good for turns 2 or even 3. A lot of classes get a nice 2/4 card with an effect, I'd like to see Priest get something like this. Hunter doesn't need such effective card draw as well as a Hero Power that negates every mechanic in the game for no reason, forcing people to play self healing cards AS WELL AS Hunters Mark (0 Mana Cost essentially an effective removal card). They need to remove one of these to achieve balance. The problem isn't Unleash the Hounds, it's everything else around it.
Spell countering is another area that has huge gaps. Mage has counterspell and I believe the game needs a neutral identical or close enough card for all classes. Mage can play a minion and then counterspell so you can't hard remove it, giving a big advantage going into the following turn. Why can't others? That's not the only use for such a card. So many times in ranked I feel like I'm going to die on 20 health because of direct damage card combinations. Give players more options to counter or mitigate these devastating cards.
I'd like to expand on deck construction. Why can't I have two warrior decks saved? Why only eight total? This means I either have to remember or write down what my decks are (or use an online website) so I can re-make the decks later. This is a quality of life thing that I'm sure will be added in the future.
I'd like to see new card sets released around a theme, instead of as a regular patch plugging in new cards. Make the next edition booster packs be based on this theme, offering cards from that new card set only. Of course give players the option of buying a 'core' pack instead for a shot at cards in the first set as well. This means the chance of getting a rare, epic or legendary card won't drop each time new cards are released, and will roughly stay the same as it is now, which I think is a pretty good place.
I would like to see some damage reduction in other classes, like a trap for priest or paladin. Maybe some minion for rogue that prevents attacks for a turn or something. Most of all I'm just excited to have more cards to work with. Different card drawing options and ways to remove minions, and MORE DECK SLOTS please!
Secrets aren't addressed properly. There's the secret cards, the minions that get buffed by Secrets in some way. But no way to nullify or clear out secrets once they are in play other than triggering them. No way to know what they are either.
So either a way to see what they are, a way to nullify/clear them, or (Ideally) both so we can decide when deck building.
Battlecry - Reveal enemy Secrets Deathrattle: Destroy ALL Secrets Spell: Remove all enemy secrets (probably a 5 or 6 drop spell I suppose)
Secrets aren't addressed properly. There's the secret cards, the minions that get buffed by Secrets in some way. But no way to nullify or clear out secrets once they are in play other than triggering them. No way to know what they are either.
So either a way to see what they are, a way to nullify/clear them, or (Ideally) both so we can decide when deck building.

Oh I want a Graveyard so much. And a way to play around with cards in your graveyard. I've mainly been playing reanimator variations in MtG and this was such a fun playstyle.
I also want to see more magic immune (shroud) minions. Especially minions with more abilities in addition to shroud. I find it a bit boring that every game is so incredibly focused around keeping the board clean with spells that there almost never are any minions on the board at all. Minions with shroud would allow for a minion-heavier lategame.
Graveyard would be amazing. How about different minion states like flying, burrowing etc? Might be cool
I think we all have a good idea what a flying mob would look like - if you have been around long enough to see a few bugs :)
Oh my god... I just realized... That flying bug was so fluid and functional. I think Blizzard actually plans to make flying a thing. How else could that bug possible happen?
I would like to have replay option, to record and share with my friends some epic wins. Also I would like to have spectator mode to see how top players fare against one another, of course with a 3-4 mins delay to prevent sniping.

Oh my god... I just realized... That flying bug was so fluid and functional. I think Blizzard actually plans to make flying a thing. How else could that bug possible happen?
I like to think of bugs as akin to an avalanche, a bug that causes a card in the hand to flicker when you have a specific combination of cards, also causes you to be unable to click on a background object like that last crop that wont open, which happens to combine with a bug with syncing with the blizzard server which causes a card to wiggle and pulled into the sky like the mechanic used by Cho in the tutorial.

I would like to have replay option, to record and share with my friends some epic wins. Also I would like to have spectator mode to see how top players fare against one another, of course with a 3-4 mins delay to prevent sniping.

OK so there needs to be a Neutral Flare equivalent for all classes as well as the Battlecry / Deathrattle effects to give players more options
