3/9 8am to 3/10 8am this is a great event you can participate in by running a stream or donating to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. For 24 hrs one player is going to play and stream straight through to raise awareness for MS and we're encouraging all players to consider helping. It's easy. What can you do?
Mister_Smith. I guess I am a little confused here. Why do you believe that gaming is not good for the human body?
I have MS, as does my mother. Mine is a much lesser progression than my own mothers yet we both play video games. She utilizes a DS3 for simple games to exercise the brain, I am back on my PC. Appreciate the comment but I feel your fairly off base. Check out the event page at the twitter listing to learn more.
Maybe not. But like many things in life, challenges exist. I'm 47. I have this ignorant disease and it's a challenge to live with when I relapse. But hey, 2 years ago I also chose to go back to college. That's a challenge. I raised my daughter on my own, that was a huge challenge! :) So yeah, maybe it isn't so good on the human body at any age, but I do things I believe in because I want to. Right now I'm healthy. Hanging out for 24 hrs for something I believe in, no sweat.
Please consider giving us a hand with this. At minimum, tweet or share the event. Thanks!
