Hello what up, I just started to play Heartstone now and Im decent at it but I would really appriciate if somebody can give me some tips like what deck first to build etc. whats the strongest cheapest, beginer deck etc. Im playing Mage deck right now, not sure if worth building it or should I play Shaman?
If you're literally starting out, have no cards, no budget, Priest for card draw abuse off Northshire Cleric.
If you have a wee budget, Warlock weenie, also called "Zoo". Uses a lot of common cards. (Common, as in the rarity; inexpensive)
If you have a little more budget, Hunter variants, because you can make strong decks without epics or legendaries.
Generally I'd just say play whatever you enjoy, play different stuff, get some experience. When you really want to specialize (if you even do), you'll make that decision.
If you see a post that you find objectionable, report it, it helps keep the forum clean. But be aware people are allowed a lot of latitude.
If you find my posts to be rude, objectionable, or whatever, well, I got tired of writing polite TL; DR (Too Long, Didn't Read) posts at crybaby whiners. So now I just make it short and nasty.
If you find that funny, well and good. If you find that sad, that's even better.
Shaman is a great deck to start out with, because when you have all the core cards you have very easy access to every shaman deck that exists. This is beacuse shaman has so many core cards that are used in pretty much every deck. I think its like 22 cards or so..
Apart from that, warlock zoo is very cheap and VERY reliable and good. Its a CHEAP deck that can get you to legend.
Alright, once again thank you everybody. I see lot of people playing that warlock zoo deck and doing very well, so I guess Im going to stick with that for beginning.
EDIT: Leveling Priest (5) and I must say I enjoy playing Priest (Great potential and awesome control/chain reaction) more than the rest, I change my mind, going to start building priest deck after all.
Started to play ranked today, 5 win - 4 lose right now, been getting bad start cards, lost 2 games from a shity paladin wow still cant belive, so trash deck and he wins w/e. I guess my zoo didnt click yet since its "semi" completed, think it should be easy ggwp once its 100% completed.
I wouldn't worry. Paladins usually have an easy time against zoo because of equality, consecrate and all their beefy minions + healing.Or if it was the shockadin build, its so aggressive that we are usually chance less because of our hero power.
Just remember that you cant win every game. Especially considering you are so new to the game and the deck. It does take some practice. I hit legend with that zoo deck that you are using, yet I didnt have more than a 60% winrate.
So if you won 5 and lost 4, then it sounds like you are doing well.
You are right, I guess its alright for a beginner, thanks though.
I have noticed in very beginning that Paladin is a easy deck, but did not know how they do against zoo, I see your point now.
I will try to go for rank 16 today, then monday I will buy some card packets, hopefully I will finish my deck pretty soon enough so I can have an easy time on my road to legend. I really like the game and appriciate all the people helping me here on the forums.
I might add another thing as well: You shouldn't expect to get legend right away because you have a good deck. I've played since mid-closed beta and I still didn't manage to get to legend until this season.
And you're never going to have an easy time on your way to legend. Getting there is painful :P Even with a deck that is considered to be one of the best decks out there right now.
Just kidding, no worries. I just hope this zoo deck can bring me to rank 10 at least, then I'll build something really strong (end game deck), but its true I have seen miracle rogue decks lose to a random trash deck, and such things on legend levels (plays).
Will see, Im not rushing anywhere yet, for now I just need the cards :)
lol, what season ended? how long does last one season anyway? It sucks I just started to play ranked yesterday, and to rank up and now I have to go all the way back.

I appriciate the answer, thank you. I think I will play Priest then, untill I get more experience.
I might upgrade and invest into Shaman build deck later on, anyway thank you!
Shaman have some low budget decks that are actually pretty good ! Maybe you should browse the deck section to find something you can afford.
Shaman is a great deck to start out with, because when you have all the core cards you have very easy access to every shaman deck that exists.

Im reading this one right now; http://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/55946-an-in-depth-legend-zoo-guide
I really have no idea where to start to be honest, since my warlock is level 1, I guess I will play some pratice games 1-20 or so?

Offtopic: How do I use emotes in game? (:say/speak) What button lol >.>
Right click your face and then click one of the emotes.
(Unless you are on an ipad, in which case I have no idea.)
Thank you both +1
I just got this card, is this actually any good? Im afraid to /d it because I may regret later on
Its not.
Infact, its rather useless in anything but "fun decks".
9 mana cost is too much for an 8/8 and the effect is useless. Especially considering that it also affects you.
Yeah I disechanted that card already, Im a beginner and I really need all the dust I can get.
Im bulding Reynad Zoo Warlock deck, 50% complete right now, cant wait to start playing ranked :)
Yeah sure I will try it, Im doing Lock > Priest > Mage.
Almost done with my warlock deck, so might do the mage deck since its cheaper than priest but will see, thanks tho :)

..Sorry for sounding like a douche :P
It looks so easy on twitch.tv streams :'D
