It works with all demons, wich have a negative effect on play. For example if you play Pit Lord with this weapon, your hero take no damage and the grimoire will lose 1 durability. Same for lifetap or soulfire etc.
Negative effect is too ambiguous. It seems clear that you mean only deal damage to your hero and discard a card effects. Regardless this item is far too strong. life tap is already too strong on it's own and preventing the damage makes it more so. The same is true for minions that damage you, they damage you because they are far stronger than minions of a similar cost. Being able to play soulfire or doomguard without discarding is also really dumb. I would like the idea of a 0 attack weapon for warlocks though, it would be a nice addition to the game.

This weapon cost 3 mana and have 3 points of durability, so when you play a minion with this weapon, you lose 1 poimt of durability and its equals paying additionally 1 mana for this minion . So for example your blood imp cost 1 mana for 3-2 minion and it deals 3 damage to your hero, but if you summon him while you have this weapon, he will cost you 2 mana for 3-2 minion. Same for some other demons: 5 mana for 5-6 pit lord and 3 mana for 4-3 succubus and 4 mana for 3-5 taunt felguard. I agree what it`s strong with doomguard, because 6 mana for 5-7 charge is op, but it can be exception. And it`s workd pretty fine with soulfire, becouse it`s just 2 mana 4 damage spell and mages already have a regular fireball, wich you can use whenever you want when you have it in the hand, but if you want use soulfire without discard effect, you need to equip the weapon first and it`s already 5 mana in 1 turn. And Anima golem and power overwhelming should be exceptions too.
And by negative effect cards I meant only warlock ones.
