I'm also loving this Ancient of Murlocs! One war leader and three bluegills just caused the biggest comeback ever, 3 health vs zoo, Neptulon survived, added a rockbiter and suddenly 22 damage to his ugly face!
How is that 22 Damage? Neptulon has 7 damage and for 7 Mana next turn (3 Overload) you can play either 3 Bluegill Warrior or 2Bluegill Warrior and 1 Murloc Warleader, the second of which deals the most damage and causes an additional 8 damage. Together with 3 damage from Rockbiter Weapon that is 18 damage, not 22. Your scenario would only be possible without Overload!
He didn't say that he finished him next turn. Maybe 2 turns after playing Neptulon.
He did say it. He said "Neptulon survived, added etc."
If the opponent cannot even deal with Neptulon next turn then, that would be another 7 Damage from Neptulon. So he definitely implied this meaning.
Sorry for responding to this so late, it was only one turn, but it had to have been 18 or so damage, and I obviously recalled it incorrectly.
Yeah Priests can pretty much counter any play you make if you both make it to the late game, you just have to hope you can stave off their slow grinding attacks and burst them down.

This card is quite literally my new favorite card. Positively juices up the slower late game that Shaman is prone to! 7 Dr. Boom into turn 8 Ragnaros the Firelord into turn 9 Al'Akir the Windlord + Rockbiter Weapon into turn 10 Neptulon is my absolute new favorite thing to do. Only proved lackluster when a Priest Thoughtsteal'd and dumpstered me with my own Neptulon.
Please don't be that guy.
Nobody wants to be that guy.
