So I'm sure that everyone has seen the huge influx of Handlock now that Hunter got a nerf. Now I'm not gonna whine and moan about the deck itself, I don't have much of a problem with it. Sure, the Twilight Drakes and Mountain Giants can be annoying, but usually people deal with them with a decent board established. What I do have a problem with is a key card in the deck, and other decks, such as giants mage, the Molten Giant. This card is INSANE. The fact that you play an 8/8 for free is just crazy. While you do have to be at 10 health or less in order to have it cost 0 mana, this is hardly a downside. There's plenty of ways to regain health, and Warlocks have plenty of ways to keep anyone from touching them once the giants are summoned. I get the same feeling I had when Buzzard + Unleash was still a thing, except instead of worrying about a huge tempo swing by playing too many minions, I'm worrying about a huge tempo swing happening by hitting my opponent. It just seems like a card like this shouldn't exist in the game, or at least shouldn't be as powerful as it is. What do you guys think?

Brb while mages one shot you and rogues dual evisc after free giants. Heck hunters ain't even dead with this many locks around. Dual kill command k thx. It's a huge downside friend. Play Handlock for just a week and you will realize how bad it feels to drop sub 13 vs classes with damaging spells.
Yeah Molten Defenders is a huge tempo swing. You wanna know what's also a huge tempo swing? Savage Force. Equal Consecrate. Auchenai Circle. Blood storm. Hearthstone is all about tempo swings due to the nature of the game and how important the board is.
you have to work around it. work on establishing your board so you can push lethal in one turn or two if you have damage that can bypass taunts so you don't allow them the ability to play them for free.
