I just beat my own record and went 6-3 last night! I drafted a warlock deck with Deathwing in it, who won me 4 of those games, lol. I did not mean to sound like a debby downer with the expression "chugging along." I always look to improve and keep a positive attitude. I also do not find Arena nearly as enjoyable as regular Play mode, both ranked and unranked. But since I don't wanna spend any money, arena runs it is!
I find in arena my best decks are the decks with mostly small cost cards. Sure there are a few above 5, but msot of them are below 5. Just won with a warrior last night with almost all 3 drops. (I never play warrior, but I hated my other choice). I figured I was screwed. Only had 1 weapon draw out of it all. Turned it into a 9-1 by mostly overwhelming them in low cost creatures.
I once had a 12/10 creature (with buffs and such) and the priest just mind controlled it and owned me. They're annoying but I can manage to beat them every now and again.
Theres no denying that hearthstone needs a lot of balance, and this is still closed beta. its easy to forget that at times. Things will be fine in a few months I'm sure ;)
They could just make MC silence-able, if it isn't already...It would allow classes without hard removal (Warlocks come to mind). I mean sure locks have corruption but if someone Corrupts a minion I'm playing I just kill it on something. Sorry if that was slightly OT. Arena needs some balancing mainly in terms of class cards...Sometimes I get all the class cards/spells I want...Other times none at all, which makes the life of my arena runs much shorter because I lack the skill to work around a lack of spells..If that makes sense.
Good show figuring it out. priests tend to be the tricky class when you are very new. my first area run was a 2-3 with all loses against priests. A few more loses after that I had them figured out and now win much more than I lose against them. Now I just need to figure out paladins, heh.

I beat a priest at 10 mana. I guess he never drew MC. Thank god or it'd been a lost for me.
