Still waiting for BoTB repeat without any additional changes, new coop one or top 2 would be alright aswell. Brawls for past two months were mostly bad or medicore.
They can't bring back top 2 or top 3 now unless they ban Patches, surely?
The reason why people hate so much on this brawl is obviously because they can't play without a deck that is carefully planned. A random deck tests your knowledge of the game beyond the class you always play. Sure, you need a little luck but that's hardly all it's about. It's still about making the most of the cards you get and anticipating your opponent but it's also about being able to improvise and make up a strategy on the fly.
I find it a nice break from the otherwise extreme playstyles and I also think it's easier for some reason. We don't have to face those boring face aggro decks in here that always plays the same and you still can't do nothing about unless you have a anti-meta deck.
Awesomeness 4 - You get to combine cards from two classes into unusual combinations
Replayablity 5 - Just keep playing without worrying about your deck. Every game is different
Balance 4 - Because you have two classes you can pick something that completes your weaknesses but some combinations have a better chance to succeed than others. It's unavoidable though.
Great now 90% of people are playing hunter, ruining Warlock and ruining this brawl.
Again, make it so you can block. Just do it. I'm sick of hunter, sick of burst, sick of unfair early tempo, sick of it all. Just make it so the defending player gets to at least block minions in some way and not have to react one turn later all the time.
It's a broken game mechanic. It'll never get fixed with any card you make.
"I'm winning, finally a brawl where SKILL matters!' "I'm losing, this game is broken and needs to be fixed ASAP"
Hilarious.
To the main topic, just take one of the classes with a decent hero power (warlock, mage, hunter (and priest to some degree)) and hope you get good cards & no opponent class that counters you, like warlock vs hunter. Needless to say, I don't really like this brawl very much.

But as brawl MMR exists, skill indeed matters far less than it should, no matter what brawl is in circulation.
