So I play a lot of the solo adventures, I'm a bit OCD so want to complete all the bosses with all the heroes, in both normal and heroic. I'll probably try and do it with all the decks and hero power combos as well at some point. I'm not particularly awesome at this, to calibrate, I can one shot the normal modes often enough, but heroics can take several tries. This adds up to 4 wings, 8 bosses(you see bob twice at fights 3 and 5) , normal and heroic, with 4 heroes. assume x2 -3 for the normal mode runs and x6-8 for heroics, and I've played several hundred boss fights.
Ever since ToT released, I've ALWAYS picked VIP inn upgrade every time it's been available. I am yet to see the innkeepers deck card (bobs bombastic deck). Video games are about experiencing content. Everyone should be able to experience the full part of the game, if they're willing to do what it takes to earn it. The main exception there is to this is RNG on rare loot drops in multiplayer games. Earning something compared to someone else is a thing and I can respect that.
This is not the case in single player. I think it's fair to say that I've played more than the typical player in terms of adventure mode. What's the purpose of tuning single player RNG on some of the more varied content to the point where most people won't experience it at all? You don't even have to tweak the % if you want to keep it rare, just have the pity counter equivalent from the packs as a thing, to give the player the option of having it.
It's really demotivating to see and I play a lot of the single player stuff because I frequently travel and dodgy connection impacts PvP games a bit too much. Posting here as I wondered what the rest of the community felt about the purpose of single player content.
