Thank you to everyone who participated in the first tournament! And congratulations to dienewb, the champion of the tournament! We had a few hiccups but overall it was a success! Looking to do another one next monday, maybe with special rules.. Would also like to look into having matches streamed so they can be seen live.
The second round of Murloc Monday will be announced soon! (Tournament Rules Subject to change)
This series is for NA players only! Sorry I was unaware earlier EU and NA cannot play together (thank you IgniteQ and MelonYellow!)
Tournament Rules:
-Single elimination (Best of 3) **Semi-Finals and Finals will be Best of 5**
-Each player must have at least 3 decks of different classes ready for the tournament. If a player loses a match, he may not use that deck for any other games in that series.
-After each series is complete, both competitors should post results as soon as possible.
**In the result of a dispute in reporting scores, screenshots proving the victories (with both player names and a time stamp) will be requested, and an executive decision on the match will be made.
Tournament Prizes:
-One first place winner will receive $25
-One second place winner will receive $10
-Two Semi-Finals contestants (3rd and 4th) will receive $5 each
If you are to sign out of battle.net (client) you can pick the NA server upon logging in again. Your account info is all the same, you just log in to the NA server instead of EU
I'm a bit curious, moreover wondering about the time difference. As I'm in GMT+1 Europe and EST means a six hour difference (Do correct me if I'm wrong.) so it's rather non practical. I was wondering if the people competing can agree to a certain time that's appropriate for both players?
I'm sorry, the tournament will have to be played at 7:00 PM EST, it is meant to be a night tournament for NA, but we don't want EU players to be excluded if they wish to participate
I wont be streaming any matches, because there is no spectator mode yet.. But I encourage anyone who wants to stream to do so! Might help the tournament get some more popularity!
How will this be regulated, how will players know who to battle? Sorry, I'm very new to Hearthstone Tournaments, but I'm interested in playing in them.
When you make an account on the tournament website, you have to edit contact details.. Steps to do so are in the main description on the website, then you will friend the person you are against in the bracket, and play your games through battle a friend

Is this happening tomorrow?
When are the brackets being put up?
Just wondering when check ins are going to start or do we just assume everyone signed up is going to show?
Herroooo
is it me or is this binary website really suck for running events? anyone able to find brackets?
I dont see any sort of brackets or anything...
I see people confirmed for this but i done see how to confirm yourself... any one help please
Is it safe to assume this isn't happening?
this kinda thing really makes me want to run my own events.
Wouldn't say so, wait until official word from the OP, he's likely hard at work to facilitate this event.
