Yes I want in the beta and no sadly I am not. What bothers me more that that is all the crappy streams with beta players using that stream to make money. When there are thousands of loyal blizzard players who have spent hundreds and some thousands to blizzard over the years who deserve the honor of testing the game. For every 1 informative stream with a good player there are 5 wanna-be frat boys that are terrible. Please release an open beta.
Pretty sure Blizzard loves people streaming themselves playing in beta. The beta is probably half promotional and half server stress test. The more streams out there getting watched the more hype there is for the game. If the streamers make money then more power to them.
Being a long time customer doesn't give you the right to test anything, people who regularly stream are more valuable in betas because they essentially provide free and effective advertising and publicity.

Hence the reason why the first wave was pretty much all to streamers and fan sites. The second wave was almost all a promotional giveaway. Welcome to capitalism my friend.
I do understand how annoying it is to watch someone who has no idea what they are doing with a key though. However, people who have no idea what they are doing is blizzard's core demographic for thus game. They want to open the genre. The info they are getting from first time card game players is much more important than what you can give them.
I've seen it pop everywhere multiple times already on Reddit, the official forums, and here. Can't people really understand the basic thought process that goes through Blizz's actions in this?
For the second one wheter they know what they are doing or not it doesn't matter. It still generating interest for Hearthstone. If only so you can get in , make a video yourself and show those guys how to play !
I have spent 8 years playing World of Warcraft. 13 bucks a month plus a lot of other Blizzard stuff I bought in the past years summs up to anywhere between 1.500 - 1.600 bucks spent. But that will not give me beta access. But people that got an annual pass were promised beta access to MoP. Does not make sense but that's just how it is.
They can sell subscriptions over a time when there would likely to be a drought with promises of guaranteed beta Offering the same to long-time customers would provide them no extra incentive to continue their subscription when tired of the wait between two games
I'm pretty sure I was invited in the first wave and I'm just an opt-in from my battle.net account. I'm definitely not a streamer and I didn't win my way in through a giveaway. I just got an email saying I was invited, which I checked through my battle.net account and NOT by clicking on any links, just to be on the safe side.

This argument/discussion is getting a little old.

I'm afraid I don't understand your objection.
Are you objecting to people making money off streaming Hearthzone ?
Or just people who don't seem to know what they are doing ?
For the first objection it's allowed via Blizzard's Video policy as long as they're part of a partner program :

It's all about the hype baby :P

It makes perfect sense though
