I've found that the only way I can play Hearthstone without getting bored or frustrated is if I have the game in windowed mode and do other things in the meantime. For example, I'm playing the game as I make this post. Other times I watch YouTube or Twitch.
Yes, I see you're saying that. When your opponent plays, you should wait his turn out. That's what playing a turn-based game is.
Also, it's likely you're one of those 'if your opponent is slow'- players, because you're just clicking the game away at the end of your turn. It's selfish, and only something I imagine Quest Rogue players (or other 'fun and interactive deck-players) do.
It takes me 2 seconds to click back to the game, and I hear what's happening in the background. I hate Quest Rogue and boring decks, and I've been playing priest, hunter, druid, paladin meme decks basically. It's the opponents turn that I find boring, since everyone plays the same decks
I do a run through of possible cards remaining in my deck, figure out their perfect curve, what my hand can curve out to and figure out the percentages for what I need to draw.
I'll also consider what my opponent can play.
once I'm confident I've done all my planning I'll annoy my girlfriend with stupid voices and/or explain my epic strategies to her, which she could care less about.

i dont think it takes that long its basically whenever i play something i know what can i draw to follow up and what the opponent can answer to it
I also play in windowed mode, but my 2nd monitor usually has a stream up... usually of someone playing a similar deck to what I am playing. It is mostly for white noise while I play. If I don't have a hearthstone stream up I watch Dr. Disrespect or a VOD of his.
You must not be a very good player since there are things you need to watch for during your opponents turn. Good players constantly keep an eye on their opponents hand to see cards they've kept, which cards they play, so you get a sense of what they are holding. It's important whether someone uses a top deck, whether someone uses a card produced by another card, and so on.
If my opponent kept a card on the left for 9 turns, that narrows down what that card could be tremendously. And that's just one example.
I usually browse around on here, look at deck lists, forums posts, write up decks, play pokemon, look at memes, come back to just read the log and take my turn. It's not like you need to catch your opponent cheating.

When you play a deck that is meant to be un-interactive, but your opponent still tries to have turns. It sucks doesn't it?
Jezus. If you're playing the game, play the game. If you don't feel like playing the game, don't play the game.
I said while your opponent plays. What am I supposed to do, interrupt the middle of his turn and start busting out cards?
You're doing literally nothing half the time when you play Hearthstone. Or if your opponent is slow, you're doing nothing 80% of the time.
when I wanna window I just play it in my phone and play another game (or vice versa)
I exist, I think.

I tab out and play Terran and win with Marine Marauder Medivac.
Make the Card: The biggest thread on the site!
My mandibles which are capable of pressing down and tearing, my talons which are known to intercept and hold.

I play on my phone mostly. Sometimes I play Shadowverse at the same time.

Watch Twitch/YouTube or browse the Hearthstone Reddit.
Out of death, comes life.
I swear i've done the same to my girlfriend, i've let her try one game and unfortunately it was as freeze mage (wild) so everything went wrong lol
I normally find the cure for cancer. Every now and then I get real bored and write a book.
Bring back the Sorry emote!
Youtube/Cracked (not as good as it used to be)
I can watch most movies without alt-tabbing, but my attention span has certainly been reduced since...something.
