Getting stoned, and playing combo druid, and otk mage, is some of the most fun I've had in hearthstone for awhile. The classic 32 damage otk mage, and Force Roar Druid were my main decks back in the day. But I have all the cards now, so it's like getting to play all the meta decks I couldn't back in og hearthstone.
im playing HS since Beta and i wouldnt play the game again today, it’s super boring to play imho, super simple mechanics, lacks of complexity and interesting cards. It’s just an OTK fiesta.
I've been there man. I've played since beta. I put days into Hearthstone back as a teen. RNG was a lot more tame back then, but its so much fun to just be able to go back in time, when things were simpler, there were a finite amount of possible outcomes, because there was a finite about of cards. If you had a full set, you could play any of the popular decks you wanted, which I didn't have. I had Murloc Warlock, with Jaraxxas. It wasn't until gvg that I actually started having cards to make competitive decks.
It's pretty fun, it will be my secondary game mode after Wild.
But I feel like it is a lot different than I remembered.
Every class has one deck. It feels a lot like Classic WoW, where back in the original Vanilla everyone was clueless and had no idea WTF they were doing, which made it a lot more fun.
But the gamers of 2021 have everything worked out. It's a "solved" game.
Well, that actually is not a thing. You mulligan versus Miracle, you get Face Rogue. You mulligan against Control Warrior, you get Face Warrior, or even OTK. Midrange/face Shaman. Midrange/face Hunter (this is kinda the same in terms of mulligan). Midrange/Ramp/Token Druid (still the same). Face/Control Paladin if that's a thing. And of course Warlock, the hardest Class to mulligan against, you only guess if it's Zoo or Handlock. It's actually hard to mulligan correctly, because you never know what it is. And in Classic you pretty much lose the game if you mulligan for the wrong archetype. So, things are quite different, man.

Funny, it’s even worse than i thought.

It’s ZERO fun to me.

Same here, finally I can make decks without atleast 2 replacement cards.
