Welcome everyone! This is my version of the hobgoblin paladin. With the release of new cards such as Tar Creeper, Firefly, Righteous Protector and many more within the last couple expansions, Hobgoblins has only gotten stronger yet seems to go pretty unnoticed. In all my time in wild (which really might be like 80 games), I have yet to see someone even attempt to play a deck with hobgoblin in it. And although its not even a tier 2 deck (yet), it is extremely fun to play and seems to hold its own pretty well.

Below I listed a few cards and explain as to why I put them in my deck. Im very open to suggestions as some of you are probably a lot smarter then I am. Feel free to suggest changes and together we can try and make this deck viable!

Echoing Ooze: Besides the obvious synergy with Hobgoblin, this card has the capability to create some very nasty late game threats when combined with Spikeridged Steed or Dinosize. The winrate of my games where I have landed one of these 2 combos are very high.

Shielded Minibot: Hobgoblin is usually played on turns 4 and up which means we need powerful early game to bring us into a position where we can pull off these combos.

Rallying blade:  See "Shielded Minibot". Also, I think its better then Truesilver Champion here because it comes out a turn earlier, really helps the early divine shield minions fight for the board and helps fill the curve out because Hobgoblin usually shouldn't be played on turn 3.

Corpsetaker: A pretty powerful turn 4 minion that can be used to protect your smaller minions or your face against aggressive decks.

Anyways let me know what you think!
