I don't have any legendaries, so trying to go for normal Maexxna was tough. There's a lot of guides on how to beat heroic, but the normal version has a different AI regarding it's web ability, so those guides didn't work out so well. In this case, I trade the traditional healing ability to tank minion damage to instead prefer hard direct damage in the later turns.

Note that this deck was made with what I have in my collection. Feel free to replace any basic cards with something better.

Mulligan

Try and keep Elven Archer, Leper Gnome, Amani Berserker, Bluegill Warrior. You'll need these early on.

Turns 1-3

Go for face damage if possible, but the goal is try and fill the board with 1/x minions, while getting rid of the things that will really hurt. Emperor Cobra, Shade of Naxxramas, and Acidic Swamp Ooze should be killed with haste, hopefully with a card with charge or silence, to prevent further damage. Try and keep your spell damage and spells in your hand for now, as you'll need them later. Try and keep your Ice Barrier for later, since you need to trade minions early game.

Turns 4-6

Here you'll see the Sea Giant or Sludge Belcher. Now's a good time to use your Polymorph to get rid of the nasties. Feel free to use Ice Barrier and Frost Nova to prevent damage to yourself. However, now's the time to stop trading minions and start going to face damage. Ideally, you want to get Maexxna down to 15 health. Don't forget to not kill the 1/X minions. When Maexxna has a full complement of 7 minions, it'll not put more down. Use this to your advantage.

Turns 7+

Now we turn up the heat. Hopefully the RNG gods have given you a Kobold Geomancer or Dalaran Mage or two and some direct damage spells like Fireball, Frostbolt, or 2x Ice Lance to deal some heavy direct damage. At this point, the enemy minions should be piling up so pull some direct damage to the spider. Do not attack any minion unless it's a very good trade or you will die next turn.

It only took me like 2-3 turns with this deck vs. a F2P paladin. YMMV though.
