So, when looking at all of the new cards, you might have seen Sudden Genesis and thought that it didn't really have a use in warrior. Unlike druid or shaman, warrior doesn't have global buffs like bloodlust or savage to do a massive charge combo, and it is a bit too expensive at 5 mana to combo with Grim Patrons.

So, with all of that in mind, when I opened a copy of this card in a pack, I was not all too excited. I went through the possibilities and designed a combo with Leeroy, Inner Rages and Rampage before i realized that all I did was make a Faceless Manipulator Combo. I also looked into doing something with x2 Kor'kron Elite, but one Kor'kron elite is just better most of the time.

Suddenly, I remembered Anyfin Can Happen, and how Murkeye can be buffed by neighboring murlocs, so i decided that I would do a big Anyfin-like combo.

However, there was one problem. In order to do an OTK, you need 6 Murkeyes, or 3 Murkeyes before the sudden genesis. So, after a bit of theorycrafting, I fugured out how it would work. I would charge Murkeye into a small minion, cast blood warriors to obtain another opy of Murkeye, then brewmaster Murkeye back into my hand, essentially creating another Murkeye. Then, after I had 3 Murkeyes in hand, I could go Emperor + Coin + Faceless to make the combo cheap enough to play.

I lost quite a few games trying to pull off the combo. I lost about 10 games in wild casual (with one win to someone who conceded after a big brawl) before i realized that I would have a better chance at a low rank in constructed wild. About 15 losses later I was at Rank 20 with 1 star due to a disconnect and a partial combo win where a blood warriors got milled.

I was playing against some sort of value priest with both types of Elise. I went to fatigue and was able to pull off the combo!

How to Play the Deck

So, you might be wondering how to play the deck. Well, the answer is simple: survive. The deck has a control warrior shell with some removal and all threats removed to make space for card draw and combo pieces. Avoiding getting milled is top priority, so if you need to need to play a loot hoarder and shield slam it to not get milled, do it.

If you first, make sure that you get a coin off of the Burgly Bully, but be very careful with it, because if you mill a combo piece, you will have a bad time. You also need to save a whirlwind effect to activate sudden genesis at the end, but it doesn't matter which of the four you save. Also, in the case that your opponent has no small minions to activate your blood warriors with, you can use whirlwind as an activator.

The combo does 42 damage, so it will kill pretty much anything that isn't a warrior or a mage with ice block. Also, while writing this, i realized that you can deal exactly 30 damage with 2 Murloc Warleaders and old murkeye with sudden genesis, but I think that the triple murkeye version is a lot more fun.

Thanks for reading all of that! I hope that you found it at least a little bit interesting, and maybe you'll want to try playing it yourself, in which case, I wish you the best of luck and request that you send me a victory screenshot.
