When I made this Horde deck, I had the Warsong Commander and Raid Leader in mind. Think distant drumming, fire, smoke and the Horde frothing and charging… Anyway…. You mulligan for Leper Gnome and Fiery War Axe to remove early threats and deal damage, of course, and then set the stage for the rest of the Horde to come marching in.

Drop Warsong Commander with any minion you have that has 3 or less attack so you can utilize Warsong Commander’s ability. If you drop it alone on turn 3, odds are, your opponent will kill it immediately. If you feel lucky that it won’t be killed, go ahead but don’t say I didn’t warn you. You may drop Kor’kron Elite or Amani Berserker before Warsong so that you can let Cruel Taskmaster deal damage the next turn and it will march along with the rest of the minions with Charge. If your Warsong Commander is still alive, you could bring it in with your Raid Leader and charge away with the rest of the band.

Bring the rockstar out at turn 5 for a dash of fun. Elite Tauren Chieftain adds some sparkle to the Horde for a change and it’s a good intermission number, by the way. You may cast the Power of the Horde card, so that’s one more minion marching to the Horde’s war song.

This deck features minions with Enrage, hence the importance of WhirlwindInner Rage and Cruel Taskmaster. These will also work well with Execute for removing taunts or big threats that keep you from hitting your opponent in the face. However, you must save at least one of them for Grommash Hellscream later–preferablyInner Rage for turn 8. You should be done by then. If you can’t finish the game with Grommash (*incredulous gasp*), arm Garrosh with Gorehowl and smash your way to victory.Mortal Strike is your “just in case” card. If you go below 12HP, use it to thwart big guys or deal direct damage to the opponent–for example, opponent is down to 6 but he/she has a whole stretch of Taunts facing you. Use it when your opponent is “lethal” or when you have no choice.

This is meant to be a mean, fun deck–think the raging Horde and a rock band in one. I hope you’ll have fun when you use it.
