The game plan here revolves about trading efficiently with the White Knight: the ability to pick your target and the fact that it has 4 attack must be used to its fullest along with the White Bishop.
Always mulligan for 2-3 White Pawns and hope that you'll draw into the Knight and Bishop. Once that happens, it's a matter of positioning.
Make sure that you always place or switch the Knight to the rightmost slot, and the White Rook (more often that not) on the middle, to tank damage, use the Pawns to modify the number of minions to an odd/even one or to an even/odd one, since you'll have the upper hand at the end of the turn.
Regarding the Bishop, placing it between Pawns is a good strategy, because it simply tanks damage while it heals your other minions. Use the hero power to switch its place from either the Knight's vicinity or the Pawn's to the injured minions, or, if need be, move it to the left-most place to sacrifice it for the attack power; in the end you need to attack, not to defend, since your resources are limited, his aren't. The ideal use of this minion is to trade and heal the Knight. Healing the Queen is a good option as well, but since it has 6 health, healing the Knight after hitting a Rook/Pawn is more important imo.
In the end, the Queen isn't used as a finisher, but as a board clear, having a Bishop between the Queen and the Knight being the target that you should go for.

After getting 3 Pawns and helping with the Bishop first because I've got that before the Rook, here's the status:
Finally, both of you run out of steam.. literally.. but.. but! You win!
I hope this could be of help, even if just a bit!
EDIT: Thanks for the feedback, I appreciate it! The turn one pass tactic works as well, however, think of the real chess game: Pawns are pieces that are sacrificed, in the end, even if you lose your Queen, as long as the King is alive, you can still win. Having a board is detrimetal, so I prefer to have board advantage over small damage ticks to my face, since you'll never know if he'll play a Knight/Bishop, the Bishop is the most favorable case since you can play your Knight to counter his Pawns and then go for double hits if possible. That's just my opinion though, both options work, though I prefer the one that implies board control
if i write here what i wish for this boss creator i would be permabanned
Thanks for this guide.
It's so important pass the first turn. I tried to give the turn one pass tip and I had it on my first try!!!! Thanks!
Worst heroic Ever, I really hate it. 15 cards, need really good RNG. Hate it a lot.
45 tries now and can't complete it.
can't stand it anymore on heroic, it's really really frustrating.
blizzard, after 50 tries can we get something to assist us or somethign this is getting on my freakin' nerves
Thank you so much for the tips! I honestly feel your pain guys. But I got it on my 1st try.
Positioning is key key, obviously. And the Knight. And the Bishop. And the almighty Luck and RNG.
this boss is frustrating...
Got it on the 18th try!
By far one of the most frustrating bosses in any adventure ever.
Took me about 20-30 times. I did the sit out trick on first turn but honestly it's very RNG based if you understand the mechanics. Normal version was fun but never doing this Heroic one again.
Thanks for the tips! The turn one pass tactic worked for me!
Going second makes a big deal because you want to be using your minions to do the most damage and have bored control since you only have 15 cards so the less damage they take and the more double damage they do the better. This also means sacrificing Bishops over pawns for Cheat and lastly praying to the RNG gods that you draw Knights and Queens at the right moment.
Loved this mission and your guide got me to a 1st attempt win today. What I realized was that I was far too reckless with my knights and usually just kamikazed them into the nearest bishop while some pawn took them down. By pocketing the knight with a single bishop he was able to live until the very end where my board state completely overwhelmed black.
I hope that f*cker who invented that boss would die. Horribly.
It's tips to give you a better chance, not an indefinite victory.
Same here...
74th attempt. Without exaggeration. This crap is too hard. I think I have to take break for today.
Keep trying brother and try to always go turn 1-2 full on pawns, turn 3 bishop and 4 have knight and as the OP said, it's a matter of positioning and "bit" of luck.
After 85 tries I finally did it. Thak you for support tho :)
This was annoying and interesting at same time. Annoyed by the draws, but interesting mechanic. Need to think twice before playing.
Thanks for the tips, took 5 tries.
Thanks a lot for the tips ! I already understood that a lot of the strategy was based on being able to make a good use of the knight but having a good guide like yours for a better understanding is realy appreciated ! Thanks again, man ! ;)
