Standard Priest C'thun
I mainly play priest and have reached rank 7 last season with one, yet, i get 30% w/r on this and 50% on my own c'thun priest. Shaman rapes this deck and other c'thun decks so hard, which is the main problem. Against shaman i used a single excavated evil and a holy nova along with soulpriest circle to get rid of aggro shaman. Let me tell you, holy nova is TERRIBLE, against aggro shaman. It kills nothing that they run, except totems. Pretty much all of their low stat minions are 2/3 except tuskar totemic which often spawns a 0/3 or a 3/4.
As others have said this deck doesnt seem very well thought out at all. Control generally handles c'thun very nicely when it's like the only threat you have and they know it, they just keep removal in their hand. Against aggro it seems way too reliant on getting auchenei circle in time because as stated earlier holy nova is useless.
i only had basic cards. pls dun downvote me i am so sad
People are actually voting for this piece of crap? It looks exactly like the deck a player who's never even touched the priest class would build. Hearthpwn is freaking dead.
This deck is VERY hard to play the early game and mulligan due to the lack of early game. Northshire doesnt trade well with totem golem, wild pyro sometimes u need to hold it for bigger clears, dont even know why 2 death and justicar when zoo is so common. Justicar is incredibly slow that if you play it, you've lost the game. there should be at least one pain, and at least 2 more early minions. Even against control decks, this deck will probably still do bad cause the cards aren't even high value.
I count 4 board clears(excluding pyro cause that's situational, rarely board clear, and combo w/ what spell? holy nova turn 7? circle 1 damage?), 2 of those 4 require another card and turn 4(which makes it worse for mulligan cause sometimes u don't know if you should keep soulpriest, cause circle is USELESS in this deck otherwise). If you don't keep soulpriest, it's almost guarantee you will not be able to use that board clear before turn 8. Let's also think about when you play against zoo/aggro shaman, they flood back board in 1-2 turns since they don't commit that much anyways, especially if they see you play NOTHING. against divine shield paly and shaman, holy nova is rarely a "board clear". I only mentioned totem because I also mentioned shaman. We can talk flame imp, even fiery bat, ... The point is northshire is only good for drawing one card, which you must commit 3 mana to. It will not help you stop board at all. Have you played this deck? Especially in legend? You will find that this deck sucks against aggro, sucks against C'Thun as well. Even the inclusion of justicar. Against aggro, it's an 8 mana heal 2 extra. Against Control, it's complete useless unless if you reach fatigue. Only reason why it worked back then was because deathlord could deal with aggro.
P.S : I'm playing another version of priest from hearthpwn. Only have darkmender as heal and ofc 2 novas. I find that plenty enough against aggro.
Too greedy, has no early game at all
The fuck exactly do you think Beckoner of Evil, Wild Pyromancer, Disciple of C'Thun, Twilight Elder, and Northshire Cleric are?
I replaced Justicar Trueheart with Emperor Thaurissan and it works wonders against other C'Thun decks. Thanks!
How effective is with aggro decks?
I need only Justicar :(
Good deck with a nice win rate. Not so good against aggro decks like huntard face though.
Replacement for Bran and Entomb? i.e non LoE Deck?
Doomcaller replacement guys ?
Good deck, I beat a freeze mage and control warrior with it. Cheers
It's a good deck, but if Cthun is among the last 7 or so cards, it's very hard to stall the game for that long.
Brann Bronzebeard + Twin Emperor Vek'lor or Brann + Twilight Darkmender just destroy the ennemy, such powerful combos
Is it worth to make [card]Twin Emperor Vek'lor [/card] for this deck?
Emperors are a must for C'thun decks, they're like the reason you play it along with C'thun himself
You can use it in many other decks. It is like the Dr. Boom of this expansion.
Sir, it is a good deck by the way. Thanks for sharing!
I cut one [card]Darkshire Alchemist[/card] for one Sylvanas Windrunner
