A general tip when looking for replacements in any deck is to look for any 1 offs and double up. This generally works better than finding a similar but crappier replacement eg The often suggested Kobold Geomancer for Thalnos replacement seems to make sense but usually isn't as good as swapping for something like a FOK, shiv etc.

once you know how to play it, this deck is just too good. I had a 10-0 run, but problem i still dont know how to play it. people concede when i throw out gatezan and 2 spells, so i never reached end game and have no experience piloting this deck in end game.

Earthen can save you against shaman. just hope they dont get the doom hammer on curve and be even more aggro. the tools are there

This deck is a lot of fun!  

Subbed in two Sinister Strikes.  They may make it less effective, but I love feeding them to Malygos!

Do you think Mechanical Yeti is an acceptable replacement for Tomb Pillager?

Don't have any LoE Wings yet but really want to play this deck.

This Deck is so much favored against Druid. Don't need to improve this matchup I guess. Secret paladin and aggro decks are the worst matchup

The deck is cool but there is no hope with it on the current ladder

So how dog reached legend with it?

What do you guys think about Van Cleef in this deck, for example instead of a SI-7 agent ?

The best way to use Van Cleef should be to drop him after spending all cheap spells with Gadgetzan, but that needs 3 unspent mana crystals. So it can be used in late game to increase the damage dealt to the face of the opponent. And even if it's the only target to BGH, we can choose to put him 6/6 (against warlock, war) or 4/4 (against priest).

Sometimes you need to use your spells without Auctionneer to clear the board of the opponent, unless you want to die before turn 10. So Van Cleef is here to put a big presence on the board and distract the opponent, after spending your cheap spells for tempo.

Why post this deck when its older than dirt there isn't even anything different about it

This list is missing Bloodmage Thalnos, which Dog is definitely running right now (I didn't check the VOD in the deck description; if Dog didn't have it, it must have been that he forgot).

Right now, Dog is running -1 Violet Teacher, +1 Bloodmage Thalnos, compared to OP's list.
