Wait for the opponent to get a hero power that can't be used when you have no minions (Web Wrap or Decimate). When they get one make sure that your board is clear at beginning of your opponents turn.

This gives you a big advantage since you can use your hero power  and your opponent can't.

If you get a hero power that spawns minions make sure that use can remove them before you use the hero power.

Other than that just clear the big threats and hit face with your weapons.
