COSMIC VALUE GUARANTEED
I've theorized about a deathrattle Rogue since the adventure was announced. I've tried several lists and I found after several tweaks I found this one extremely effective on the ladder, reaching rank 8 on the second day of the season with several and long win streaks.
I found many of the lists incluiding raptor were either too aggresive and ran out of steam too fast or too slow, heavily losing to control and combo decks.
Short Guide:
This deck plays pretty much like zoo. You play on curve and gain cosmic value by making eficient trades, quickly overwhelming your opponent and making him rage quit.
When asking whether to attack face or trade and you are not sure your best bet is to trade minions. You should usually be ahead on board to make super cheap trades into big minions like a nerubian egg killing an azure drake for 3 mana and leaving a nerubian on board.
Mulligan:
You want to mulligan for your backstabs, sir finley, loot hoarder and abusive sergant.
Against certain matchups you can keep thalnos if you have backstab to kill a mana wyrm or a darnassus.
Against slower decks you should look for nerubian eggs, raptors and maybe even shredder.
Having no AoE, you heavily rely on being not too far behind. You can usually swing the tempo with backstab and fan of knives but if you lag too far behind it can be hard or impossible to recover.
When discovering a hero power from our murloc friend you want to aim for warlock's, paladin's, mage's or priest's, picking hunter's only if you are close to or planning lethal.
Good luck and happy ranking!
looks fun, do you have a video?
I think that Piloted Sky Golem is a little slow for this deck... Maybe a second Sap would be better
This deck used to run a belcher instead of the sky golem, a turn 9 raptor golem is devastating and usually an instawin
But that means you wont use a raptor until turn 9... Then a 6/4 and a 3/4 are easy to remove and you spent you whole turn in only that two minions
