Basic Low Budget Zoo

Currently at Rank 4 EU with this deck. I excluded mortal coil as I felt it didn't give me board presence. I rather have 2 abusive sergeants which can boost a minion the +2 dmg it needs for the kill of that minion instead of having a sometimes useless mortal coil in hand (sometimes even 2). I also subbed 2 argent commanders with 2 dark iron dwarfs. The +2 dmg boost is useful quite often and you can play them before turn 5 (you can get rid of the card before you play a doomguard next turn when you have both in hand).

Strategy with this deck:

1. Kill all enemy minions before going to the face (even ancient watchers)

2. Only put down shieldbearers if there is something to protect (i.e. don't only play shieldbearer on turn 1 if you don't coin + play another minion.

3. Keep your divine shiels on your minions active as long as possible, especially vs. handlocks. It's hard for opponents to deal with divine shields as they cannot just use boardclears. Rather use another minion (that maybe dies) to clear their board instead of divine shield minion. This way, your opponent will hold on to their board clear as you have 1 minion less on the board + the divine shield minion will live.

4. Always play minions, even when you see that they will be killed (i.e. through weapons). You need board presence.

5. Utilize your mana to the fullest. Try not to leave mana unused at the end of a turn. Rather play a minion that costs 1 mana less and life tap.

6. Don't be afraid to use the doomguard at turn 5, even if you lose out on 2 good cards if you cant get rid of them before. Your opponent will have trouble dealing with it.
