Testing a new iteration of Miracle Rogue post-BRM with Thaurissan.
The finisher, of course, is Arcane Golem + 2x Cold-Blood + Faceless Manipulator for 24 Damage in 1 turn.
Feedback Welcome!
DETAILED GUIDE WIP:
Against Patron Warrior:
Keep: Deadly Poison, SI-7 Agent, Blade Flurry, Azure Drake, Deadly Poison
Techs for: -1 Fan of Knives | +1 Blade Flurry
This matchup is pretty 50-50 and is going to depend on who gets the better draw. The most important card for you is going to be Blade Flurry, and its a bit harder because we only run 1 Blade Flurry.
The key to winning this deck is to realize that most of the time, they can't combo you out until turn 8, unless they start getting a big board with Patrons on turn 5 with death's bite. You want to clear the board as fast as possible, and you want to win this matchup through faster draw. Their combo is faster, but you have a lot more removal at your disposal, so you want to take advantage of that.
Getting a good Emperor turn off is crucial for this matchup, as is making sure you conceal your Gadgetzans if the opportunity presents itself. You want to be averaging at least 3 cards with Gadgetzan.
Also don't be afraid to take initiative with the board.

Against Face Hunter:
Keep: Backstab, SI-7 Agent, Fan of Knives, Shiv, Deadly Poison
Techs for: -1 Violet Teacher | +1 Sen'jin Shieldmaster
This matchup is actually not that bad for us, and as long as we don't draw an incredibly slow hand, we generally should be able to win this because we run two Antique Healbot. What's really important in this matchup is to realize that we are never going to draw into the combo. You have to be the aggressor here and don't be afraid to use your Cold Bloods to race him. You have a lot of removal, heal, and damage at your disposal at full hands. Race the hunter and rely on your Cold Bloods and Antique Healbots to carry the day when combined with all the removal you have.

Against Control/Chinese Priest:
Keep:
On Coin: Emperor Thaurissan, Azure Drake, Violet Teacher, Gadgetzan Auctioneer
Always: Deadly Poison, SI7 Agent, Sap
This matchup is slow slow slow. You're probably going to end up finishing the priest off with your combo in this match just because of how it's going to go. Hold onto Sap for their Velen's Chosen target and you should be fine. Priests generally don't run burst, so it's fine if you run yourself low on the matchup because it's very unlikely that they have the direct damage to burst you out. Try to get big turns off with Emperor and Gadgetzan, and kill him with the combo. Don't be afraid to take initiative if you can seize board control, but don't overextend.
Change Log:
-1 Edwin Van Cleef | +1 Fan of Knives
-1 Gnomish Inventor | +1 Violet Teacher
Remplace for Bloodmage ?
For spellpower take a Kobold Geomancer. If you're interested in more card draw, go for a Loot Hoarder! I'd recommend Kobold over Loot Hoarder personally, but it's all preference anyway.
Yay! Looks like I'm not the only one trying to bring back miracle rogue! :D
However, I've been using Thaurissan + Malygos as my finisher, which has been super fun and relatively effective. Will give this a shot when I get home.
I've been trying to do the same thing, however I'm facing a huge problem. I can't get the draw engine to work since Gadgetzan Auctioneer requires you to use the spells you need to kill your opponent. Also if you can't find Malygos, you either can't play the emperor or can't use preps for draw with the auctioneer.
Anyway to solve that problem?
You can find the decklist under my profile, but I've found that the only things you have to save for your Malygos are the Sinister Strikes. Cycling Eviscerates and Preps with Auctioneer is fine, even if you use them on the face. I also use one Assassins Blade in order to either add face damage or control the mid game, because auctioneer can't really be played until turn 7 or 8.
I am trying too mate, but a version with Malygos. The deck took me to Rank 5 easily.
I was thinking also for a version like yours. With the start of the new season i'll give it a try and i may adapt it a bit for my personal taste and let you know.
Damn rank 5! I didn't think the deck was consistent enough for that, but I guess I was wrong. Could I see the list you were using? That's impressive.
i couldn't believe it too, that will cary me so far,i even hit rank 4 but drop back.i'll add the decklist in few hours-it's monday,North remebers time-
Sorry for my late reply. Here is the link to my deck:http://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/256959-rank-5-wmg-malygos-blaze-it
Feel free to discuss
I registered just to say that I love this deck. I jumped from 13 to 9 without a single loss. So much utility and very fun to play.
Glad you liked the deck!
Im also a huge miracle fan and have recently being playing it non stop. I have tried practically all versions in the current meta, from mana addict, questing adventurer, malaygos and many more. And I have to say after all that the most consistent form is the good all leery shadow step. It just allows a lot more flexibility, allowing you to cycle cold bloods, and not having to wait for one specific combo to win. I all so would like to say that I don't think emperor is very good in miracale, as whilst it might be nice to reduce an auctioneer and a hand of spells, if you are in a position to do this you have probably already won and it is far more consistent to just ad additional cycle, such as a second shiv. let me know if you want anymore of my insights. :)
here is is my deck list by the way: http://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/247192-miracle
I just tried your list (except I cut a shiv for a healbot, dont ask me why I have no idea). I had a lot of fun with it and managed to hit a mage for 33 in a turn. I don't see why anyone would play Thaurissan over Loatheb
Wow that's a heap of damage. I can see healbots being good, gives your shadow step just that little more potential healing if you really need it. I personally just can't find the room for one, as I think fitting as much cycle in an possible is pretty key.
My issue is that Leeroy + Shadowstep requires me to run Shadowstep in the first place, which I find usually to be a deadcard until I draw into the combo.
I find from playing a lot of my list that Faceless Manipulator is a lot more versatile than a Shadowstep is in a pinch and the deck that I'm currently running which is rather minion heavy for a Miracle deck can actually take initiative with board control sometimes.
Faceless can be used on big threats like Ysera or Rag to force out opponent's removal, and it does cut from your combo, but it can also help win the game in a pinch.
I don't like Shadowstep because I think that in decks likke this, running cards that don't have an impact unless you're comboing is really iffy. The best Shadowstep can do is be used on an Antique Healbot, which is situationally useful, but I think Faceless is in general going to feel better sitting in hand. There are also situations where faceless can let you pull off some shenanigans with your opponents board, namely against Grim Patron warrior, where you can FM a charge and then surprise finish them if you don't have the full combo in hand
Loatheb is good to stall for a turn but the way my games usually play out is that I want to be enable to enable myself to Combo and Draw as quickly as possible. Cutting Emperor for Loatheb is definitely a tech for Spell-Heavier metas, but right now we're seeing a lot more Zoo than anything else. It's also decent against Patron Warrior,, which you see a lot of, but I tend to think that Patron doesn't suffer as much from being disabled for 1 turn as it does from me gaining initiative in Card Draw.
It's a toss-up, but I like Emperor because of the faster meta and because it allows me to be able to combo out and draw faster than Loatheb would.
