Hello Everyone,
First time poster. Priest only player. No net decks, only self crafted & tested. Last 5 seasons I've never seen a mirror of any of my Legend Decks, all with high winrate, no trash RNG.
Here's the first one I'm sharing. A couple of notes, I'll add more & gameplay if this gets traction.
Goal:
1. Draw your deck as fast as possible with clerics.
2. Get an extra turn Priest Legendary, combo with 2+ zero cost giants, + equip Hammer on 2nd turn. OTK. (many times you will not need the whole combo and can win much sooner)
2. Play control & setup for board clears with Injured Hauler.
3. Forge card, whatever will help you the most. More draw via cleric is always top priority unless you need removal.
It is usually NOT giant, you only need extra giants vs. Warrior.
Mulligan top priority: Cleric, Scale Replica.
Next: Hidden gem, creation protocol.
Do not keep: 1 cost dragon
Notes:
-Never play cleric on T1. You want to get 3 card draw out of your first early game cleric.
-Bait aggro decks into full clears with 3/7 + springwater combo.
[Edit: 4/10 , more notes]
S Tier Openers:
No coin: T1 (no coin) - Fan Club, T2 Gem, T3 Cleric x1 (x2) / Funnel Cake
W/ coin: T1 - Hidden Gem OR Scale Replica T2 - Gift Whelp / Fan Club T3 - Cleric x1 (x2) / Funnel Cake
Hammer Scenarios:
The 1st most important hammer scenarios are making sure to utilize 1-cost hammer with poisonous to get out of any bad early game situations. You dont need the hammer to win.
There are very limited games where you need a 5-cost hammer. 1-cost or 10-cost should be 95% of games.
The goal is to play Ignis either on the SAME turn as timewinder & take best available 10 cost (windfury + deal 6 dmg) then equip on free turn for the kill, or ON the free turn for best 5 cost hammer available.

[EDIT: 4/16] - I will add gameplay. Here is a 5 set from yesterday, 4-1. Opponents were not good except game 5, but watch how I draw the deck. I think that is the most misunderstood part. I logged back on later to do 5 more, but had a banger to start, so 1 & done vs. Druid in video 2.
And yes, we'll get gameplay vs. more aggro decks, lock, etc. We'll do a 10 in a row set when I have time this week.
4-1 (War, Rog, DK, Sha(l), DK)
1-0 Reno Druid. (Banger! 26-min game)
I would say the 1 mana priest dragon is better than protodrake, helps make space in hand for clergy, and is just a better card on average, and if you also add pip, it can turn on your zarimi just as easily, and pip should 100% be in this deck, too good with funnel cake, fan clubs and clergy, also just helps with turning on zarimi
How did you reach legend with this??? I keep getting owned in the weirdest ways - control is my main style of deck to and i udnerstand how this deck works completley, but i've been getting wrecked. DK's screw me, warrior mostly screws me with double battlecry + 4 8* minions in one turn. Even one game i had 4 Amanthuls and still lost lol. Meta seems screwy atm
EDIT: i was Diamond 6 now dropped to 10
Really hard to lose to any DK with this deck. War you will beat a lot if they dot get T6 Brann. Did you watch how I draw early game in the vids? I'll post more videos.
Yeah DK's aren't too bad actually, i think i meant to write DH lol - even with nerfs, they can snowball pretty fast. I'll study your vids a bit more and keep trying - cheers for the replies
Why is it in twist? Am i missing something🤔?
Hi, newb here. why do you suggest playing "fan club" T1, does it accomplish anything ? Or maybe have i misunderstood ?
Never keep Fan Club or Gift Wrapped Whelp, but after you mulligan, playing Fan Club is the highest value T1 play in the deck with, no coin. Gift wrapped whelp could be a better option in some scenarios.
And to add more light, you are setting yourself up for draw with Cleric or Clear with Hauler right away.
Thanks man.
So after getting back to the game after a few years I crafted your deck and got 80% wr to dia5 so far thanks !
Although I feel like the deck is "heavy", most games I don't use shadow word ruin since I face a lot of aggro or plague DK. Also the 4 cost drake which add a random drake has made me overdraw a few times.
I would agree it is a heavy deck, 100%.
Ruin & the 4 -cost drake would be the tech cards. I haven't messed with it yet. I find myself using Ruin a lot, but maybe there are other options. I tried some Starlight whelps instead of Drake and didn't like it as much.
May work on some tech backhalf of season.
Great deck mate! I've been playing some other variations of Zarimi and this one seems to be a really nice go between - really good for High diamond going into legend. Good work!
EDIT: not drawing clergy though is pretty much insta loss it seems - just happened 3 games in a row lol
During my gameplay, not drawing clergy hasn't meant insta loss. Usually Scale Replica / Creation Protocol / or a clear combo with Injured Hauler can keep you in game if you get a cleric late. There are a few potential insta loss matchups if they get S tier opener, as with most decks.
Gonna test this out. I was wondering if Son of Hodir would make sense in this deck?
Possibly, could be a few changes to test. That would be a fun one, but potentially to slow.
Quick test done. I didn't win, but it wasn't because of the roughly 20 Giants that I summoned... They kept me in the game almost to the finish, and I would've won with those Giants if I had played my Zarimi right. At least against the Warrior it was absolutely necessary bodies for the opponent to clear.
I too have been a multi-year lurker... but since you came out of the shadows and gifted your deck I did the same and signed up to leave this dang comment.
This is a very creative deck! You have an eye for theory craft, my friend. Per some of the other user's troubles, it *is* complex and takes a while to learn to play. But it's a nasty comeback deck with a ¯\(°_O)/¯ OTK. The trick is to be patient, don't use your crimson's too early, and don't worry about your health draining. Just keep her steady for that OTK.
FYI: it is tough against warrior when they build a viking shield wall. Op is correct you need to dupe your giants to have a chance.
Thanks for the share!
PS I'm subbing the gaslight for a ruin but found it slightly worse
-- update --
I have played this deck quite a bit now. I'm also a non-Meta consistent legend priest-only player. This is a very fun and creative deck. Sadly, as I approach legend it cannot hold its own against the meme decks. It does fine against anything tier 2 and CAN surprise tier 1... just not consistently enough to advance. I get to l3 and that get tier 1 hammed back down to 5. Were you able to achieve legend with it? Are you still able to sustain? Perhaps the meta has improved since you first crafted it? Or perhaps I am not good enough.
Yes. It was a bit earlier legend this season, but played it right up without much problem. Playing it at legend now, seems about same winrate TBH. What are you losing to?
deck is a pure dogshit cant win any games searching for either cleric or giants to do any dmg and without alextrasza its nearly impossible to finish game
take out one ruin and put in the 3 cost minion that shuffles you hand into the deck and draw that many cards. maybe take out one more card if you want 2.
be care with time lost dragon.
it helps with giants as well.
Man i keep losing most games with this deck, but i'm bad at using complicated decks such as this zarimi priest and the nature shaman
But wait...this is not the cancer version of priest that spams 0 cost minions and OTKs by cheating themselves an extra turn. WP actually.
