The idea is that Geomancer makes your C'thun wherever he is. This is how your cards on Handbuff Taunt work on C'thun. 2 cards for 3 mana +5/5 for C'thun is much more profitable than the usual cultists who need to take a lot. Also you can make copies of C'thun with Bulk Up. The rest of the deck is for removal and draw.
