This deck feels like playing Odd Pally sometimes. We can go wide really fast by swarming the board with minions like Sky Claw, Microtech Controller or Explodinator. Those cards may look weak at first glance but Paladin has some overlooked, long-forgotten weapons in its arsenal; Sword of Justice and Silver Sword.
These weapons become more meaningful with the help of the sidequest Righteous Cause, and the new pirate card Hoard Pillager. The synergy between these cards feels like working smoother than Token Druid when it comes to buffing our minions.
SN1P-SN4P and Replicating Menace are really crucial to remain on the board.
Crystology is quite helpful to pull Sky Claw and Glow-Tron from our deck. When you do, don't hesitate to magnetize them to each other.
Mulligan
running two silver swords is pretty overkill
Thanks for the comment. My thoughts weren't that different than yours but the second copy helps us to draw it more consistently.
silver sword is just a winmore card, if you're in a position its useful you were going to win anyway, to make this deck stronger i'd cut x2 sword of justice x2 silver sword and x2 pillager and add draw like 1x sahlets pride, definitely faceless corrupter x2 you have so many tokens making it really strong. I made a pretty similar list to yours without your weapons and pillager at start of expac and have had good success.
instead of dissing it though i'll your list out for the hell of it and see if I'm missing something you;re seeing.
Exactly! That is why the +2/+2 and taunt for 8 mana for druid sees absolutely no play. I am unsure about silver sword, even a single copy of it in any paladin deck really.
Maybe silver sword is just winmore yeah, but I'm not sure about sword of justice+pillager synergy, probably a bit slow but seems good to me, not enough to justify a silver sword though.
I will test this deck for sure, seems really fun. This take on token pally is an ispiration for sure, so thanks mr. HooliganPolygon.
