I had to try this....what if we play OTK Paladin with two very good deck thinning cards: Call To Arms and Crystology....together....there's gotta be a way....

I'm guessing I could try a standard version....but I like having Emperor to help ensure the combo happens.  And you can't run Garrison Commander in standard.

Check out my other Wild OTK Paladin decks for more detailed explanation of how the deck works.  I have one version with Call To Arms and one with Crystology (links posted below).  The idea is they draw (Crystology) or recruit (Call To Arms) certain low cost cards from your deck.  Then you draw for your combo pieces to close out the game.  If you run out of mana....play Emperor to make everything in your hand cheaper for the rest of the game!

How to use Emperor......I play him differently in some of my other decks.   With this version, I think it's best to play him as soon as you have Pixie...like the other Call to Arms deck.  I need to test this more.....

(Some) Card Explanations:

Righteous Protector - Crystology and CtA target

Bloodmage Thalnos - Card draw, Crystology and CtA target

Crystalsmith Kangor - Crystology target.  I think this is good.  He'll give you lots of healing after you play Uther

Equality, Consecration, and Uther of the Ebon Blade - All must-haves for this deck

Loot Hoarder - Card Draw and CtA target

Wild Pyro - AoE and CtA target

Blackwald Pixie - Use with coin or reduced mana cost with Emperor to finish the combo

Stonehill Defender - Crystology target and good card for adapting to the situation

Tar Creeper - Really?  Well it's another Crystology target and it has great value.  I'm trying one for now.

Zola and Ancient Brewmaster - These are your cards for bouncing horsemen back to your hand.  In aggro, they can have other uses.

Truesilver Champion - Still an okay card.  It has good synergy with Crystalsmith.

Call To Arms - Still the best deck thinning card in the game.

Giggling Inventor - This has to be good, right?  To stop aggro?  Gotta try one for now.

Solemn Vigil - I changed from 2 to 1.  I love this card, but we may have enough card draw already.

Emperor Thaurissan -  Such a great card.  It can make your life easier.  Play it any time after you have Pixie if you are going for the combo.

Sunkeeper Tarim - Usually, this card is very good.  We'll see.....

(Rough) Mulligan Guide:

I always keep Call To Arms, Crystology and Equality, though you may want to dump CtA against aggro.  I find that Equality is unique so I try to keep it, where as I can usually find a Wild Pyro or Consecration to finish the AoE later.

Against Aggro I'm looking for anything that can help you survive early.  Keep Righteous Protector, maybe Crystalsmith Kangor (need to test), Stonehill Defender, Tar Creeper, and maybe Consecration.

Against Control and Combo I'm keeping Emperor, and maybe Uther against Control.

Possible Changes:  I keep hearing about Prisimatic Lens.  I'll have to craft it soon.  Not sure it fits here.  We could try Dirty Rats (good against Combo decks), and Doomsayers.

Let me know what you think.  Do any of these OTK Paladin decks stand a chance?

Update 9/6/18

I have 3 Wild OTK Pally decks.  This one is my favorite, but it seems to be the worst performing deck of the bunch.  After 60+ games at ranks 10 or above I was sub 50%.  The best version of this deck imo runs CtA w/o Crystology.  I still think Solemn Vigil is great.  Not sure about Prismatic Lens....still testing.

Let me know if you have any ideas.  I thought the draw power of Crystology and CtA to get the early minions out sooner would make this deck work.  It seems CtA works better w/o Crystology.
