Its 4 mana Sylvanas with weaker stats, but you can choose the minion and its yours imidiately, but you need silence if you want to keep it. But still its 2 cards for 2 cards.
Just like Pizza is pasta that has been shaped as one huge flat bread and then baked and topped with cheese but not twisted around your fork ;)
It's a cool card. I don't think it's worthy a bounce effect slot in the main deck (cause most neutral bounce effects are bad on their own), but you can run some silence effects to make it permanent (for 5 or so mana).
If we this expansion succeeds bringing back value wars from control and midrange decks, this dude will be a staple in the class. However, I don't think we'll reach this state in the game until the Quests rotates.
OK this guy is decent at the very least. 4 mana "freeze" + soft taunt at worst.
If we all end up playing minions without removal it will be sick :)
I'm annoyed with this card. Not because I think it's not a neat card or anything but once again, it's an entirely situational priest legendary that isn't proactive and depends on your opponent playing good cards instead of just being good on it's own.
Yep.. they're just leaning even HARDER into what makes the people that hate priest just hate priest even more.
It's not about wins and losses against priest, its about being so pissed off along the way it doesn't matter.
Theft and copy mechanics (and then later rez mechanics) may not be that impactful (in terms of wins and losses) but they trigger -emotional- reactions in a segment of people (like myself).
*yikes* poor Priests, this thing surely won't revive the class from the graveyard, it would have been playable and decent without that unnecessary Deathrattle, it's not like Priests are dominating so why not leave it with the strong Mind control, since this is supposed to be a 2021 Legendary, feels like Priest players are getting intentionally trolled at this point.
Well, if you are a Priest it's time holding your breath for Xyrella .... last hope for 2021.
Bro... did you seriously just describe what would be a 4 mana Mind Control that comes with a 1/4 body as "playable and decent"? I don't even know where to start.
This is a strong (if very situational and meta dependant) legendary, whether or not it sees play remains to be seen, but the only reason it can exist is because of its downside, your suggestion would be absurdly broken beyond belief.
I'll most likely lose most of my games with Wild Silence Priest, but I'll evil laugh every time I yoink something with this
Boring as fuck. This expansion seems like a reprint of old things. This seems like an old Moat Lurker.
Very interesting. No limitation on what you can take...
I think this is one of those cards that will either be very good or very bad depending on the matchup. But a uniquely priest flavoured card, nonetheless.
I like it.
Again a card for the same frustrating Priest win strategy - annoy the opponent to death.
PSA: If this is silenced or bounced, the minion is yours forever.
I actually think there is some merit for youthful brewmaster here lol.
Its like there's some law that says that every priest card has to be unfun to play play against.
Can we play a single card without you people to complain?
I swear a priest will win through a crocolisk and people will still find a reason to complain.
Is there some law that states people have to complain anytime priest gets a card?
The art is awesome. But i found the card quite weak. It should cost less mana or have more hp.
So these decks are not problematic because they have bad matchups too? You dont see the problem, do you? Yes, these decks, as any other deck in the game, have bad, even terrible matchups. But just because celestial does bad against aggro druid or quest mage has average winrate at Legend doesnt mean that we"re in a good place.
A good portion of the playerbase never reaches Legend in the first place so who cares about statistics when Average Joe between two shifts is getting stomped by warlocks and mages all day. Its the casuals who bring in the big bucks not some elite metalords at 500 legend.
I'm not going to make a judgement until we see the Priest hero card, which is about 3 hours away.
