Curious New Bundle on Store - Dynamic Bundle Offer, Different For Everyone
Blizzard did something curious today, by putting up a new Bundle on the ingame and online store. That's not that unusual of course, but for the first time it seems people are not getting the same bundle offered. Some people are getting a 35 pack Bundle with 2 Legendaries from Madness at the Darkmoon Faire for 30 dollars or euros, some people are getting a Bundle with only 20 packs and 2 Legendaries for 20 dollars or euros. There's also reports about people getting 25 packs and only 1 legendary and even people getting a Bundle for Wild packs!
Blizzard's only reaction to this so far has been a Reddit comment:
Quote from BlizzardHi there! We’re testing some new types of offers in our shop, which will cause some users to see different offers. This is intended! Be sure to check the in-game shop and the web shop to see any offers available to you.
What this means for the future of Bundles and the equality in offers remains to be seen, but for now it will at least be interesting to know which offer people got, so, if you can and want, let us know in the comments!
Would be great if they offer a daily reroll option for this bundle (like quests), so you can reroll untill you get the one you want.
Yeah and then still pay for what you're getting.
That's certainly not anti-consumer, right?
You pay to get a product. That's... normal ? Don't see what you're complaiing about, life isn't all about gifts dude.
His idea is simply to get more products to choose from rather than to deal with the one they proposed to you and that seems like a good idea.
I like the idea and I would purchase the bundle. Unfortunately, my shop only offers 20 darkmoon packs. Now I got really lucky with my Darkmoon packs but was unlucky with my Scholomancer packs. I thought their algorithms were smarter :(
I just opened my bundle 20 DMF pack and 2 legendary for around 20USD,
the first 10 packs i got 4 damn legendaries, with the last pack contain 2 legendaries, well im not even mad.
Also, no one forces you to buy it.
Always that same "Blizzard is a company" argument.
Being a company that sells goods or services in order to make money doesn't make you immune to criticism. If your local baker starts charging double for their bread, it'd be fair to tell them that that's not gonna fly and you're gonna buy your bread somewhere else.
There is no point in trying to reason with these blind fanboys
"Also, no one forces you to buy it".
Thought it was clear, my bad, wrote it in bold and bigger now, might be more understandable.
Or keep criticizing a promotional offer for a free-to-play game that just got a new reward system that gives you twice as much in-game currency as before and additionnal rewards along the way. Your choice.
Some salty fanboi downvoted you for telling the truth. I voted you back up.
So a baker charging double for bread is the same as Hearthstone offering you a bundle for a reduced price?
Have you ever heard of a concept called "logic"? I'm pretty sure you two have never met.
That dictionary opening is better used in a wedding speech....even though it is lame as hell at least it can be considered somehow traditional there. Here it is just plain lame AF.
Bli$$ard
Also got 20 dmf packs + 2 Legs for 19,99€ and bought it.
Opened 1 extra leg , 5 epics , 2 Golden Rares, 20 Rares and 1 golden common , so it was ok i guess.
FYI - I see different bundles in the in-game store (£25.99) vs the battle net store (£16.99).
If you're thinking of spending, check other avenues to see if you can get the one you want.
I have the best offer - haven't spent a dime on it
Was thinking of buying, but checked and there are so many terrible legendaries in Darkmoon that I haven't opened, so chances of getting anything I'd actually use are minimal :(
If I could have chosen the legendaries, I'd probably have fallen for it
They just want more money Thats normal.
They prepare for "something" that coming in July 2021 (covid 2.0) just don't waste money. I hope everyone safe for what's coming next to the world
Please keep your nonsense in your Parler app. Thank you, everyone with a sane mind.
Yes, that's pretty much every business, it's how they function.
