In wild, it comes from a legendary card called Baku the Mooneater, who upgrades your hero power at the beginning of the game if you only have odd-costing cards in your deck. In standard, there’s a paladin legendary called Sir Finley of the Sand Dunes that has a similar effect and can be played on turn 2. Other than that, it’s impossible to upgrade your hero power in standard. If you saw someone start a standard game with an upgraded hero power, they did something glitchy/illegal.
Evidently, tiller can only attack 30 times in one turn before the coding of the game says "nope that's enough of that" and ends it. So this OTK deals 60 damage consistently, each and every time. So ideally, I guess the counter would be odd warrior? Or that one druid that makes several thousand points of armor? Or just ice block + reno. Or snipe. Or explosive runes. Or time out.
I mean, it is strange that a 3 mana 4/3 enables a player to make a 6 mana play on turn 3 with no conditions or challenges, but is Kirin Tor mage really the source of the problem with secret mage? Does secret mage even need a nerf? It’s totally beatable, and not a huge problem in wild.
They really padded out those warrior decks with terrible cards. That Jaina boss was nearly unbeatable, took me 8 tries and some real good luck/draws to beat her. The hero powers weren't even good or interesting (or consistently scaling) this time around. This was the worst solo adventure so far, easily.
dude what the fuck is this Jaina Proudmoore bullshit in Book of Heroes: Garrosh? Is it just me or is she literally unbeatable? Blizz devs thought it would be a good idea to hand you a shitty pirate warrior deck filled with the most unusable cards and have you go up against a fucking freeze mage that summons 5/8 water elementals. What the hell.
Words cannot even begin to describe the rage I feel for res priest in general, and the fact that it's back in standard and unbeatable by anything that doesn't have polymorph/devolving missiles/hex makes me want to quit the game.

I'm on a 4 game winstreak in ladder right now from this. It's literally a guarantee turn 7 win.

Doesn’t seem that strong tbh. The lack of taunt certainly makes a difference. And the fact that it’s not neutral.

Whoops, they forgot to fix the problem.

It would if Blizzard wanted to be consistent. Sadly the meme was just too funny to pass up.

Rogue: Shuffles dozens of cards into their deck
Warlock: N o.

I don't think this will be very good.
But I still love it with every fiber of my being.

Why Blizzard.
Why.
