I play a hunter and eat locks for breakfast. Mages spamming frost/lock down abilities on the other hand...that needs to be nerfed. I mean come on - if they increase the cost of my hounds, they could at least increase the cost of some of the mage abilities as well.
For the third time, this has nothing to do with Zoo or Freeze Mages or Miracle Rogues or any deck in particular.
So your saying the majority of the decks you are facing are not warlocks? ;-) I am encouraged by the fact that a f2p deck can consistently make it to the upper levels of ranked play. They are less frustrating to play against than Miracle Rogues.
Disclaimer: 40% comes from 22 out of 55 opponents up to rank 10 on EU server. I know the numbers will go slightly down when I reach higher levels but the problem stands.
First of all I'm not complaining that Warlock and Zoo are OP and whatnot, I'm just stating a fact: when you face the same deck 4 times in a row the game becomes boring.
I know I should then play a deck that has a favorable mu against Zoo, but I'm supposed to play a deck that I enjoy, not one that is just effective - or at least that's my definition of fun. As a matter of fact I resorted to play Zoo myself for a while, and I find it boring.
Again this is not about Zoo or Warlocks in specific, it's about facing the same class too often.
So what I'm suggesting is to implement some sort "protection" against same-opponent-class streaks: after you faced the same class 2 times in the last 3 matches (or 3 times in the last 5) you won't be paired for the next 2 or 3 games. And that's just an idea which could (should) vey well be tuned. Of course this way the search for an opponent could be longer, but it's always fast enough and I would happily wait those 3 seconds more.
The only Naxx card that may "fix" Miracle I've seen so far is Loatheb (unknown stats, makes minions with battlecry cost more); but it's a legendary. And zoo if anything is getting stronger.
I'm looking for someone to coach me casually for a couple hours or so, preferably someone who reached legend at least twice.
Some info about me:
I'm a 29 yo Italian and I play on EU server, but I'm currently based in eastern Australia so time zones have to be considered.
I ended Season 1, 2 and 3 at Rank 4.
This season I just got to Rank 5 with a 58% win rate (took some matches to figure which deck to climb with); the decks I want to get better with are Midrange Druid, Handlock and Control Warrior.
I have played MtG casually until 5 years ago or so.
Oh, and by the way, that RDU guy should'nt have probably been on the final. He got messages from his freinds telling him the cards their opponent had...
I agree. Oh, and by the way, thanks a lot for the much needed spoiler, I guess you really had to write that.
who could have known that there will be spoilers in here? its like using twitter one day after the release of the new game of thrones episode:D
Well he edited the post adding "oh, and btw..." right when there was people asking where to find the replays.

Handlock. Shuts down Tempo Rogue, shuts down Miracle Rogue. I actually cheer a little inside if I see them throwing out a minion on turn 1, it means I don't have to deal with infinity taunts.
Handlock is probably a favorable matchup but it doesn't "shut down" miracle at all. The only deck that does that is probably the new cancer rogue.

Update: after 67 matches, the percentage of warlocks increased to 44% (30/67, of which 1 handlock).

Technically Zoo isn't even "f2p".

You should care regardless, because as I wrote this is not against zoo or any particular deck in specific.

You should check Zilea's stream on twitch, he only plays Paladin afaik.

I'm looking for the replays of the final 4s myself, there only seems to be match 1 of the first semifinal on viagame.com. QQ

Warlock's nemesis, if one, is certainly Paladins. They can heal against zoo and skillquality againt handlock.
I'd be interested in what people would suggest is Rogues' nemesis hero atm. <laughs sarcastically>
