Hello.
Few months ago I noticed that I started to play ranked with no interest, just game after game, turn after turn, win after win, or lose after lose. I thought a little, took a look at my stats, and realized that I had been playing mostly two classes (Hunter and Warlock), thx Naxx and GvG. Then I decided, that I never play these classes until other classes get the same number of wins in ranked match-ups.
And I started a long journey with a Priest until I reached the same win's number on a Rogue. After that I played Rogue and Priest — one win for Rogue, one — for Priest, and so on. Yesterday I equalized all classes by win's numbers. Two months with not a single game on hunter and it really was worth it! Thanks to it, I have now really deeper understanding, experience, and the last (but not the least) — I gain a hunger for battle, every match-up now is really interesting.
Now I play every class until I win, and switch it for the next one. If I lose a couple of games, I simply change some cards or archetype. You would say: "Hey, but how do you want to hit a legend this season?" And you are totally right, it is very difficult task (for me of course), but it's a nice challenge. Moreover I have a little dream: there will come a happy day, when all nine classes would have 499 wins in ranked. And one by one I'll make all nine heroes Golden. I have a beautiful goal now, and I think Hearthstone never would be boring for me.
Thank you.
What I want to ask: is anybody here with such an experience?
P. S. English is not my native, so you're welcome to be a grammar-nazi, I'll appreciate.

Sorry but I just dont get it. When I made the new temporary acc for the new shaman hero, I was really surprised with all the quests and todos a new player get. It takes a lot of time to farm all the heroes and all the class cards, you get a lot of quests, free arena, etc. By the time you finish all these things, you should know if you like the game or not. If the answer is yes, the buying a full adventure or at least a wing or two should be OK. By the end of your first week, you should have a lot of gold (if you dont buy packs aimlessly), probably it wont take that much farming to buy 2 wings by the end of the second week. So you only have to spend real money on two wings then. Thats like a cinema ticket or a meal in McDonalds. Finishing that adventure (with all the HC modes) takes time too. Probably this is already to much time for a casual player... If you want to take it seriously, well then.. You cant get it free. You either have to pay with money or with your time.

but do you have the quest?! :)

arena is a long term relationship :) you can`t think about it without thinking about your overall average. and to be honest, it`s a bit weird to see that ppl can get to legend with playing hundreds of games every months, but they can go mad just because of one crappy arena.
the gamestyle can be different, but essentially, both modes are about the results of hundreds of consecutive games.

for the last 30 days, my average is 5.91 and that means 123 gold and the additional things (with 33 arena played). So basically I can play arena every night if I complete the daily quests. But because I dont have that much time, I cant play every night, so I can still gain gold even with this winrate. So yep, its profitable with a 4+ average and depending on your free time, you can be an infine arena player with a lower than 7 average.
