An interesting thing to note is that if they just used dark bomb's art but one-eyed cheat's stats - that means it's very likely there will be a 1 mana 2/4 even if that's the wrong art!
Edit: It could also be a class minion. Perhaps Warrior or Rogue? If he was a 2/4 with taunt and another drawback, that'd give some synergy with King's Defender.
Well, he is awful. But his card text is also an attempt to discount his cost. You really think they are planning to just make a bunch of Sky Cap'n Kraggs? He's also a legendary. You think this card is legendary, too? I don't know. I'm getting a real "Can't Attack" feeling from the 2/4.
So when a trailer drops for new cards, Blizzard for some reason likes to make them Warlock cards with the legendary dragon motif. Why? Who knows. However, one thing I noticed is that the stats for all minions in these trailers are correct to the release versions. The only thing is when they show a spell, for some reason it is labeled as a minion with completely random stats on it. Here's some examples.
Which brings us to the TGT trailer:
I think it's reasonable to assume that card is a 7 mana 4/6, that card is a 1 mana 2/4, and the card in back is a 3 mana ?/2. Unless they are spells. What kind of card text would justify a 7 mana 4/6? Is that an actual 1 mana 2/4 to stem aggro, a class legendary, or a spell? Very interesting, I think.
If you find yourself sitting with a board more often than not and want a tad bit of card draw, I would suggest a Blessing of Wisdom. If you can tuck it behind a taunt and get 2 turns of value from it, its fantastic. Unfortunately, it also makes the minion an immediate removal target which is almost even more reason to try to put it on something that is less risky damage wise. Even if you get 1 tick with it, a single card draw for 1 mana is really a steal.
Not sure what you would give up though :)
Well, drawing a card is worth 1 mana, it's budgeted as a 1 mana effect. Getting just 1 draw essentially just makes your deck smaller, which is good, drawing you towards the cards you want. If you get more than 1 it's a steal, yeah.
This wouldn't be any good if it was missing text. Worse than Spider Tank. Harvest Golem is better. Most class 3 drops are better. For everyone trying to think up super slow gnarly combos - they wouldn't work. You'd just be bashed in the face.
To the guy that said "OP is the standard", it is. You have limited amount of cards you can put in a deck, so why put in sub-par ones? Ben Brode had a video discussing this point.
The cards have yet to show any reason why the meta would slow down, so I wouldn't hold my breath on that front. There would need to be more reason to not run super fast decks, some sort of like... 3 mana 4/4 with a battlecry that restores 5 health to both heroes or something. More things like Zombie Chow and Deathlord.

You're right.
Another 1 mana card. She looks more legendary material, though.

Edit: Maybe like Enrage: Taunt.

If that guy was a 1 mana 2/4 "Can't Attack. Taunt", it'd be wonderful. Even if he was a legendary.

Never. Dark Cultist & Blademaster are far, far better 3 drops.

It's not viable, because it's not worth the mana to heal this guy.

It's not worth paying 3 mana to heal this guy.

This should've been 2 mana with a drawback like that.

Too slow to do anything. Next.

At this point around the season I stop caring about grinding and start playing gimmick decks and just slip down the ladder. FeelsBadMan.
