*That means each player brings two decks of two different classes to the tournament.  Each player chooses a deck and battles.   The winner of the duel must switch to the other deck and the loser can either switch to a different deck or keep playing the same deck.  Whoever wins two duels first wins the match overall.

**Basic only cards mean that the cards must not have a crafting cost and must not be of a common, rare, epic, or legendary value.  Essentially basic cards are the cards you get without opening packs.

 

 

Instructions

1. Make a challonge.com account (if you already have a challonge.com account skip this step)
2. Sign up  http://defiasguild.challonge.com/ikz0mcwo     SIGN UP WITH YOUR BNET TAG!!!
3. 30 minutes before the start of the tournament log into the chat at  https://webchat.quakenet.org/?channels=defiasguild&uio=MTA9dHJ1ZSYxND1mYWxzZQ9f  

     This is where all the communication between the players is going to happen.  Everything is prefilled, just enter your nickname that you signed up with and click join chat.  Announce your attendance, so the bracket can be updated.  Please be early!  We will not restart for you if you come late!

1. When the tournament starts, add your opponent on Hearthstone.  You can find your opponent here: http://defiasguild.challonge.com/ikz0mcwo
2. Duel with your opponent using the three deck elimination standard.
3.  After the entire match is over, update the score on the tournament bracket and type in the chat saying you are done.  Keep on checking the main chat as your next opponent will post their status there.  The tournament bracket will show who you are matched up with next.  
4. Keep battling until you are eliminated from the tournament

 

 

Rules

• Any disconnections during a match is up to the discretion of the opponent 
• Give your opponent reasonable time to find and accept your friend request.  If the opponent deserted the tournament, mark the match as a win and proceed to the next bracket.
• Everyone should probably set their spectator mode off if they would like to keep their decks as a surprise.  However, this is not mandatory at all.
• We will be going by the honor system.  Please be honest when recording results as this is a tournament for fun.  No money is on the line

 

 

Tournament Rewards

• The overall champion will be inducted into our champion’s page and will become a part of Defias Guild History!

Schedule

Tournaments for the NA region will be on a rotating format.  (Essentially, tournaments will happen every Thursday for NA unless it is canceled)

 

• First Thursday of the month:  Regular Tournament
• Second Thursday of the month:  Custom Tournament (A weird and interesting format)
• Third Thursday of the month: Basic Tournament (Only basic cards are allowed)
• Fourth Thursday of the month: Legendary Banned (No legendary cards are allowed)

 

There will be no tournaments scheduled for fifth Thursday when they occur.
