Thanks for the guide! Unfortunately there will always be an existence of *certain* people that will never understand how this all works and we can expect questions on this topic until the new expansion releases...and probably questions after as well.
It's going to be really difficult to combo cards at normal mana cost once Emperor leaves standard. Almost every combo deck needs to discount their cards somehow so I don't know why blizzard is constantly paranoid about combos. In fact, in theory it's very similar to Reno- build your deck around it, if you draw it, you most likely win, if you don't draw it, you lose.
Having a photographic memory doesn't make you any smarter than someone who doesn't. Surely you are aware of this? Otherwise your comment doesn't really make sense.
Or are you saying that halfway through any match you could (without the help of any 3rd party) reel off every card that has been playe by both players, and in what order?
The point is- who cares if you have a deck tracker or not? Sure it's helpful but it's not unfair. There are so many other factors that go into any given match up in hearthstone that have nothing to do with tracking cards- rng, hero match ups, card draw, order of play, player decisions, etc. Also deck tracking is available for everyone too so how is that unfair? Purchasing cards is available to everyone as well but you don't hear people saying that pay to play is unfair, just inconvenient. This is just a silly question if you ask me.
I don't use a deck tracker so does that mean I have lost games due to an "unfair" advantage to players that track cards? I don't think so.
Fuck the nerfs, the new ladder mech is awesome! :D Now I can reach rank 5 and play fun/experimental decks without needing to grind for 3 hours after to get back to the same rank! ^^
If you don't like the nerfs does this mean you play mostly aggro shaman? o.0
No, I just don't care about the nerf - Shaman is still going to be the best class :P The new mechanics for ladder change up the game a lot more :D
Gotcha, I thought you hated the nerfs. I agree- jade shaman might be the new monster but yay for a better ladder!
I think a decent nerf would be "Has +2 attack while you have a pirate."
Uhh, then it would trigger upon summoning Patches lol
What's easier to remove? An opponents weapon or a 1/1 minion? Plus if it were only pirates that triggered the effect it wouldn't be used as much in rogues and shaman. Only pirate warrior.

Are you more excited about the check point ranked system coming or more excited about STB getting 1 health and spirit claws costing 2 mana? I think for me it's the ranking system. This will probably help people not go full tilt and lose 10 ranks in a day lol.
Hopefully both help with the current state of the meta, which most people aren't happy with.
I've been playing HS for some time now and I really love the game. Sure RNG destroys us all at times but also rewards us often too. Blizzard has done an incredible job with their game and although it's certainly far from perfect...it offers more than most other games do. What's really sad and irritating is how negative the community is towards the game...everyone.
EVERYONE.
Sure, I've posted in the salt thread and I don't like losing as much as the next gamer...but what's really pathetic is how often people are negative. New cards? Negative comments. Blizzard does an interview with a developer? Complaints about how they don't know what they are doing. Ben Brode has a tweet for the community? Troll after troll after troll.
My point is that the so called "toxic" community and the "cancer decks" that people complain about and the BMing and the fact that the SALT thread is the biggest most popular thread here can only mean one thing...
HS community are a bunch of whiners. Bunch of pissy toddlers crying about how they are "never lucky" and opponent doesn't deserve to win because of so many misplays...LIKE YOU'VE NEVER WON A GAME DESPITE YOUR OWN MISPLAYS???
Honestly, it's sad. Feel free to debate me/others on this but just look around...on Hearthpwn, Reddit, Youtube, etc. Just wish people would grow up and there weren't so many sore losers and BMing winners everywhere.

I kinda miss seeing the golden monkey, no one plays it now though because of pirates, jades and N'Zoth.
