I wondered where this came from. I saw one on the ladder earlier and it was well piloted against my Rush Warrior and the absurdly heavy hand I had. No qualms on the loss and a nice deck to play against.
Garrosh and I have been rushing headlong into a new thing recently. Combo decks weren't really our thing so we invited Marin to the party. Things have been working out great, he's a pretty good clutch card!
I've been playing rush / tempo warrior lately, and I feel like many other classes just seem to have more big swing plays that are unfairly costed. The advantage you have (dictating trades) is only good if the other player has a slowish start, and you have very little in the way of "special" features, beside the spirit. Hunter can build sticky boards that can instantly generate value or offence in the DR and recruit variant, and even though midrange is a winnable match, their draw card is insane and they have lots of powerful buff effects. There are too many AOEs and hard removals right now - control mage and priest are nuts, not to mention odd warrior. I think it will be good if the next set continues to slow down the power level, and there are less obviously broken plays. Honestly, how anyone thought cube or diamond spellstone was a good idea is beyond me. Right now, nothing stays dead. Good but fair and balanced minions don't seem to cut it anymore.
This is a great and in depth opinion, thanks for posting. I'd be curious as to what decks you struggle against or what you've teched in. Big mage for the most part is my nemesis and the flavour of the month Mid range hunter if they play mostly on curve are a pain but other decks are beatable.
I also agree that not drawing your early minions can be problematic. I'll post some games later on but one clutch card I've found useful is Marin. Intended as an anti-Cthun card his random treasure does often help.
Beyond that, I think Odd Warrior has been very strong recently but accept its counters have been more prevalent.
I'm playing standard so Cthun isn't really an issue :), and I doubt my experiences will be interesting to a wild player lol
His maniacal mechanical counterpart Is though. I'm mostly standard and would be very interested.

This looks interesting. my first game against it I ended up with a hand full of 5 mana cost cards, which naturally didn't help when going up against an Espionage Rogue but it was great against an Odd Rogue that wanted to initiate an arms race.

Dawn of the Dragons? Does that mean Richard Knaak is infecting Hearthstone with his drivel? Oh dear

Good work.

It's quite liberating once you get the 9th one. No more pressure.
A funky card back would be nice to mark all 9 golden I think.

I try to theme my backs to the Hero skin or the deck. Iron Horde card back for Garrosh, sunwell for Liadrin and so on.

Bit off topic but I'm still gutted that ETC is sitting in the Hall of Fame. And Gelbin. They deserve standard love.

And another thing, IF you have direct damage lethal, why bother clearing the board? Just win the fucking game.

To whatever wanker plays OTK, I really hope Beelzebub sprinkles his blessing upon your nutsack.

How are people finding the face race vs Skills Mage?

Thanks for posting these games, I'll review and see where I can improve my game play.
ANOTHER Elemental Shaman loss. I can't keep up with their minion pressure.
I suspect that I am very much misplaying this but I still can't get a win.
Finally got one. This mixes well with Mech-Paladins =)

This is not compatible with Deathrattle rogues.
Or warlocks
Or elemental shaman
Or even shaman
Or elemental shaman
Or C;thun lock
Sorry, I just cannot win with this. Any deck type I meander across walks over me. I'd love it if you posted some games.

Can I ask how you're finding this on the ladder?
