I'm really hoping this hype isn't all for that $10 brawl they are planning to do. All the talk of dust and gold and then there was a picture that looked kind of like an arena in one of the pictures. It wouldn't surprise me if this wasn't for a new expansion. I hope it is though.

Every time I opt for the 2 damage on Living Roots I blurt out "What's your name, Toby?" Anyone else? No? Must be just me.

This feels like a brawl they probably originally wanted to get out before the launch of Old Gods but for whatever reason it wasn't ready.

I really miss KangaRoo shoes. They were shoes for your feet but they had pockets for your stuff. Quite handy.

I think that adding Durant was a good move and gives them an additional physical presence on the floor. They have a good chance of having three players averaging 20-25 points per game at the end of next season. The one area they may have downgraded though is at roster depth. Also, if Durant, Curry, Thompson, Green, and Igudala are going to be the starting 5 they will be very noticeably lacking a big man. All in all though they are going to easily be the odds on favorite to win it all next year and with the addition of Durant they pair up much MUCH better against Cleveland.

So in college Yogg and I shared a house off campus with  a few other guys. Suffice to say there were more than a few parties had in that house. Well one weekend I decide to go back home visit my family. When I get back to school on Sunday morning the house is trashed with beer bottles everywhere, which is hardly surprising. What is surprising however is that when I get to my room Yogg is there passed out and naked as the day he was born with some random girl who is also naked and passed out. The two of them are kind draped in an American Flag my other buddy had hanging in his room and my sheets are on the floor covered in blueberry syrup. Man, that Yogg was such a crazy bastard.

Alright. Probably just had a shitty run of class options. Although I'm still not going to swap back to Khadgar though as his head seems too small for his body and it kinda creeps me out.

Speaking as an Arena player who has gotten to the point where I could be considered "infinite" I have to say a LOT of practice and time, and in my case money, goes into getting to that point. I spent a ton during late Beta and Classic learning the basics of Arena and getting to where it would almost pay for it's self with the help of the odd quest. It wasn't until mid to late GvG that I got to where I was making enough to keep on playing for free while my gold just kept going up for the most part. Then a lot of that gold was spent learning all the changes that came with TGT.

Suffice to say I would feel safe saying that getting to be considered an "infinite" arena player is a big step up in difficulty from getting to legendary. The benefits are worth the time and effort though. I haven't spent any real money since I did the 50 pack TGT preorder and I have gotten full sets of Classic, GvG, and TGT almost strictly through Arena play. All that said getting to this point was hardly cheap, quick, or easy.

Yeah, I'm sure no one wants to read your findings, because unless Ben Brode's your half brother, you know just as much as we do.

And hey, as said earlier, maybe there will be the possibility to not get a pack at all, but a full gold reward instead. The wording "whenever a pack is rewarded" is still there, after all?

 

There doesnt have to be any new token mechanic, simply make a new type of pack, with "?" icon for example, when u click on it, u will get a choise (for example like with druid choose one mechanic) and u can choose which pack u want to be awarded. Random pack is pure BS now with 3 different ones, imagine later on when there will be 5 or more, total crap for new and old players.

Dont give me that it is good to have possibility to get all "important" cards from all expansions, there are VERY few top key cards, that u want/need from each and players will be crafting at minimum one copy of them in 90% cases anyway, so if they could at least choose pack and limit the possibilites of card pool their gona get the card from and focus into the set they want, that would be much much better... nothing then forcing ppl to buy packs (= more money) hides behind this decision, no other argument will make this randomized choise valid.
