Sounds like you used to play yugioh. Card search does promote skill rather than topdeck wars and open more decision trees

I might plan on playing arena for the first 2 months for the expansions because it is more efficient for gold when you have a decent average winrate. Then maybe I will go into the meta once I get a decent portion of the set and my gold gets low.

I'm not sure I can keep up with this game gold wise with 2 expansions a year. I spent 8000 gold on Whispers and got complete garbage and had to craft a few cards and I still can't play some of the decks I want to(anything with nzoth, rogue, or any deck with class legendaries). Maybe will have to never play wild:( and disenchant all of my old expansions.

Either Druid or Hunter.  Hunter has no draw power and Druid got nerfed and has holes all over the place.

1 card only has so much impact on the game.  Sure, Tirion will win you games if it goes into the late game and you draw him, but it is only 1 threat.  You can win those games if you are ahead anyway.  It is much more demoralizing to face a PEFRECT curve.  At 11 wins yesterday I faced  minibot, into muster, into shredder.  Then on turn 6 a darkshire  into a muster for battle.  I know it sounds too good to be true, but I screenshotted my deck tracker as proof.  I actually kept up a decent amount, condsidering my deck was absolutely insane too(2 muster, 3 uldaman, 1 consec, 1 truesilver), but with an opening like his it was an unwinnable game.  If I would have faced another opponent who played tirion and rag, but in an average deck, I would have easily won.  I would be too far ahead for any chance to win.

I know legendaries are seemingly unfair when you get in a topdeck war, but consistent smaller cards have a much larger impact.

Most of the warrior deck are placed a little too low I think.  Ive been seeing a ton of successful people playing all types of warrior decks all over ladder.

posted a message on Hearthstone Vs Magic Vs Yu-Gi-Oh

Yugioh is by far the most complex card game of the bunch.  This doesn't imply it takes more skill though.  Yugioh has become increasingly powercreeped and auto pilot with every minion being sticky(or a floater in yugioh), while having some sort of immunity.  Yugioh's ruling are so complex and intricate that it no longer promotes skill, but rather cheating.  The game may have been one of the most skill intensive in the 2005-2007 era, but it is now a complete joke.  Magic, at this point, takes the most skill and thought process, but I certainly enjoy Hearthstone much more due to less cheating, more budget friendly, and it is online, so i don't have to go to tournies to have fun and playtest.

Ah yes, spectating is a much much better idea rather than streaming. Add R3v #1186 if you are interested in doing some co ops.

Would anyone be interested in doing Arena runs as like a 2-3 person team?  I think it would be fun if we could Skype and the person who is playing runs a stream.  It would be a great way to get a high win rate and likely go infinite.  We could take turns on who gets to play.  Let me know if anyone is interested or if this is already a thing.
