How come when I am playing a deck and I start facing counters to my deck, and I switch decks, I immediately face nothing but counters to the deck I switched to?
For the purposes of climbing, the game will last extremely long, and if I am not Odd Warrior myself, the match up is easily polarized at least 70/30 in his favor. Should I be eating the concede in this case? The ~30% chance that I get the star is not worth the 30 minutes I would spend getting it. Isn't it statistically better to concede that game and play two games in the time that one would have taken me?
Currently trying to climb with Spell Hunter and Deathrattle Rogue.
I'm not hating on aggro or anything, I think aggro is a necessary part of the game, but I am soooooooooo tired of seeing Odd Rogue in ranks 1-5. I almost just want to concede to them so they can rank up and GTFO of there.
This deck may have been good for a day, or may be good at low ranks but I don't see how you got to legend with it... It's a solid 50% winrate at best at rank 5 and above.
Lol you are playing the most cancerous deck to ever exist since Control Warrior. What do you expect? Control Lock players make Nazis look likeable.
What is your point with being on ladder anyway? Go play solitaire. It’s the same level of player interaction.
And he’s not wrong. If you’re rank 13 with a Control Lock you need to find a different game. Try Solitaire.
Someone's private chamber has been repeatedly Defiled by the Masters of the Dark Arts ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Take no notice. I’ve seen him in multiple threads crying about Taunt and armour gain. He’s basically who the “me go face” Hunter song is based on.
I don’t even play aggro? I enjoy mid range tempo decks which are completely non existent anymore due to the continuous proliferation of control decks. The more that control is viable, the less this game becomes about one player versus another and the more it becomes about stacking up your defenses and playing solitaire until you either get your “I win” card or your opponent concedes. That’s not good for the game. Hyper aggro decks are just as bad. The two opposing forces of control and aggro are molding the meta into levels of anti fun that are just absurd.
Right now you either play super aggro and win by turn 6 or you play super control and win by turn 30 while gently stroking your neck beard. I’m sorry if you disagree but that’s fucking awful.
You mean you don’t enjoy 48% warlocks in the ladder? Or double SP, double inventor Druids? What is wrong with you?
side note: we are in the most control meta ever. It’s cute that people call their combo decks combo, but let’s be honest, it’s just a control deck with a OTK win condition. I love spending 45 minutes a game fighting taunts just as much as the next guy but I really wish this game would get some sort of relevant competition. Maybe Artifact who knows... I’m tired of Mike Donais’ bullshit
Warlocks gotta go. Druids are absurdly overpowered but aside from people teching in Mossy Horror but no class is shaping the meta right now like warlocks are with Zoo on the Tier 1 aggro side and Control on the Tier 1 neckbeard side.
Fine, we can have another warlock expansion but I hope that once the KoFT cards roll off they can get nuked into oblivion for a season.
Should I just be auto conceding at that point? The high levels of the ladder are littered with Control/Even lock garbage and if I don't kill them before turn 10, they inevitably draw Gul'Dan and have a board full of high health taunts, as well as a Lifesteal "I win" button.
Is there any way to come back from that, or is that actually their win condition essentially?

Hopefully nuke it out of existence, but I highly doubt that.

Odd Rogue if you want to try for it. Control lock if you just want a free legend.

Because it's a stupid easy, stupid cheap deck that is a 60% winrate 40+% of the population plague on the ladder?

I don't have Stargazer yet so I threw in a Pyroblast. It really helps finish games.

Save a Hunter's Mark and a Candleshot and hope for the best.

The funniest part about this deck is that he thinks it takes skill lollllllllllllllllllll
