Lucentbark is just very slow and weak to transform and silence, so he requires some absolutely broken support to be viable. Hadronox always had bord-fill potential and got his time to shine when N'zoth rotated.
True. I've seen a few decks manage to get about 5 or 6 Lucentbarks on board, so the copy mechanics are there. Where it fails is having enough healing. If Druid gets more healing support (which it almost definitely will) I think it could be a thing. It probably also needs more anti aggro stuff to help.
With the new expansion officially just over a week old, which cards do you feel are weak/disappointing now, but have good potential to grow strong in the future?
Here are a few of my predictions:
i) Shadowy Figure - This will be played if very strong deathrattles get printed. This will even be more true if Priest gets a resurrect a specific deathrattle card spell.
ii) Unseen Saboteur - Hasn't been seen as much as people expected, but if more spell combos come along, this will be a thing.
iii) Lucentbark - Hadronox wasn't viable in its first expansion, but then got some support. I feel this could be this year's official 'Taunt that will never leave' card.
I climbed from 5 to 1 with tempo rogue and from 1 to legend with control warrior (I changed deck cuz there were too many token druids)
What’s the best counter you’ve found to token Druid? I’ve found control shaman is pretty good because with Electra/vargoth you can boardclear twice in one turn.
So I'm pushing for legend this month. I've been playing with a lot of new decks and am wondering if anyone has made the climb from rank 5 to legend in the new expansion. What's the best deck to use.
I have pretty much all cards and a bunch of dust, so any deck should be ok.
I’ve found her to be a useful tech card. I run her in various control decks.
She’s good to counter bombs. I’ve also put her in a control warlock deck in which I also run hakkar. She acts as another option to purge the blood out of my own deck.
she’s also a fun card.
Yeah, she seems like a ton of fun honestly, really want to craft her I think. It's hard to resist the urge to craft stuff in the first couple weeks, but I do it as best I can, wanna get the most value out of my dust xD
Any other cards you've seen look promising so far? As far as legendaries go anyway?

I'd say she is probably the most viable neutral legendary. As for class legendaries, what classes do you mainly play?

I love hearthstone. I’ve played pretty much every day for the past 4/5 years.
But mate, if this reveal season, of a card game, is enough to devastate you and make you feel not yourself, then you maybe need to re-evaluate your priorities a bit.

I see a lot of salty threads about Bomb Warrior being OP, so I made a deck that owns it. Now there are you guys just saying "Go Face..."
Go face with what? You got a better deck? Please feel free to enlighten us. I'll be at the Brawliseum winning.

This is a deck I made to counter Boom Warrior to so far great effect (haven't lost to them once).
As the weekly Brawliseum seems to be littered with Bomb warriors, this can also be a good deck for your Brawliseum run.
Basic mechanics are:
-Lots of weapon removal
- Mass dispel to have a chance at nullifying those boom bots.
- Archivist to purge your deck of bombs near the end game if necessary.
- Lots of taunt to survive the early game, and build a wall with using rez mechanics later.
- This also uses the Wild Pyromancer + Northshire draw engine. This can also be used to give you some hope against token decks.
Good luck

I got her too!

Well, looks like I’m setting my alarm for 2am tomorrow.

None of them. I craft to win. I don’t craft to bling.
